Flickasbord, Volume 173

Surfing websites, such as Youtube, become unexpected sources in finding movies that aren’t accessible to assess elsewhere. So, given that, I found a movie that was deemed a related title to the movie “Oink (Knor)” via that website, on the basis of it being a stop-motion movie.

Let’s begin.

First up, staying with that other stop-motion movie, well it’s called “No Dogs Or Italians Allowed”, which sounds like a very offensive movie title. But I’m usually not one to judge a movie on its title alone, as I see beyond that title to assume that it has the same charming vibe as “Oink (Knor)”, thus I will assess it via the aforementioned YouTube. And hopefully it will pan out, unlike both the Kirk Cameron movie “The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes” and Eiza Gonzalez’s very first movie “Case Treinta”, as those two duds are/were also available to see via only that website.

Next up, Pom Klementieff has become yet another one of those actresses that falls under the category of, “No such thing as too many Flickuum movies for her”, which is a category that applies to basically any actress not named Blake Lively. Anyways, I’ve spent nearly two years searching the former’s IMDB page to see what other movies of hers that I can add to her current total of 13 Flickuum movies. And as to how that ongoing search has gone recently, well I found one called “Hacker’s Game”, which was released in 2015. However, that movie has also been complicated by the fact that the very same movie was released three years after with “Redux” in its title, and is one minute shorter than the aforementioned 2015 movie, thus I have to see if both movies are the same or not. And since I’ll be conducting that type of investigation, I will watch both versions back to back. Stay tuned.

And finally, for the third day in a row, I meet the minimum of three Flickuum related items in a blog entry, but not in the pardoned movie type of way. Instead, the minimum is being met via a movie that I had on my assessment/re-assessment radar before deciding to take a flier on the 2023 version of “White Men Can’t Jump” two summers ago. And as to what that movie was, well it was “Running With Scissors”, which features Sinqua Walls’ “Mending The Line” cast mate, Brian Cox, and jumped out at me via a friend’s recommendation nearly two decades ago. But of course, that movie kept slipping through the cracks, and was eventually removed from both Tubi and the free section of Vudu after I lingered too long in deciding when I was going to assess it. But luckily, I stored it in my Vudu rental list, thus I typed it in my document of movies that aren’t documented on the Art Infliction website, and now it’s been chosen as the next one that’s worthy of addition to the roster. Now let’s see if that choice pays off.

Well, I had a massive Art Infliction update yesterday, thus no assessments/re-assessments were/have been done since the pointless impromptu assessment of “Locke”. But given that I have some components to somewhat replicate a mostly successful run of assessments that occurred during early-August 2024, I can confidently say that I will achieve my goal of getting the minimum of 50 movies to choose from for the next incoming Tier 5 haul. And since I want to meet that minimum before midnight tomorrow, that replication will begin right after my lunch for today.

Until the next time.
