Remember that 10-movie assessment/re-assessment marathon that I blogged about three days ago? Well, I’ve decided to reduce it to six, as A] Both Ride Along movies will be in the Catch-22 Hundred Project, thus no re-assessments will be needed for them, B] RocknRolla is non-essential to the direction that I foreseeably want to go with for the Project, and C] The 2008 movie “Harold” hasn’t arrived to me yet, but I’m in no rush to assess it because it put forth a meh trailer. So, with those three points being said, the marathon amount is of course six, due to D] Me needing to justify my Amazon rental of “Space Cowboys”, E] Me wanting to see if “Benjamin Troubles” is worth its second re-assessment or not, F] Me wanting to see how substantial Aimee Carrero’s role is in “Devil’s Due”, G] Me wanting to see one of Oscar Isaac’s most iconic roles via the movie “Inside Llewyn Davis” and H] Me wanting to see if either “All’s Faire In Love” or “Clarity” can overtake “Within” as the tenth Nadine Velazquez movie to make the Project.
Of course, that’s just one part of this convoluted plan, as the Project spot that was revoked from “Next Goal Wins” will be awarded to either Scream VI, The Last Ride, Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Silent Night, Richard Jewell, Fantasia, The Man With The Iron Fists 2, Shark Night, a movie to be named later and War. And of course, the movie that will be named later will either be Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget, Inside Llewyn Davis, Benjamin Troubles, Devil’s Due or one of the three Nadine Velazquez movies, with that answer coming before the final weekend of 2023.
Tune in tomorrow to at least part three of this convoluted plan.
