Previewing The Path To 800

29 days. That’s how long that it took to get from 600 to 700, which marks a Two ThouCentennial record of how fast an increment of 100 evaluations was completed, as well the one third mark of the Two ThouCentennial Project being reached. And like all previous increments of 100, this one was unique, from the standpoint of The Roommate finally getting off the waiting list to be enshrined into the rankings, as well as The Girl On The Train and A Simple Favor both being evaluated in the last tenth of this now completed increment of 100.

Of course, there are mixed emotions of reaching this latest milestone, as those three movies and the 97 others in this now completed increment have all offered unforgettable evaluation memories, along with the fact that another milestone pursuit has ended. But there are 1,400 of these still to go, thus it being a time to get a second wind mentally in time for the wee hours of December 26, 2022, as the path to 800 will begin during that timeframe with the evaluation of Street Kings.

Of course, it’s unlikely that it will take 29 days to get from 700 to 800, but there are some things set in stone for the next increment of 100, with Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban being evaluated right after Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters, Epic being the last evaluation of 2022 and Toy Story 4 being the first evaluation of 2023. And given the inevitability of getting to 715 in early 2023, a baseball-themed movie or a non-baseball movie starring an actor who played a baseball player (the late Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson in 42) will be evaluation number 715, as it will be in homage to Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth’s record for most career home runs back on April 8, 1974.

Well, three of the four movies that were mentioned in the previous paragraph, along with Street Kings, are all ones that I know for certain will be evaluated before 2022 concludes, as we only have eight days left until the calendar turns to 2023. And as always, the only way to find out what gets evaluated is to keep tuning into The Nog.

Regardless, it will be fun adding to something that started with Wildcats and rounded out to 700 via A Simple Favor. I look forward to resuming the Project in a little over a day from now.
