As someone who has assessed movies way before it became integrated into the Art Infliction movement, I have stooped to the level of wanting new/fairly new movies to fail, so that proven movies can get overall guaranteed Project spots once the final Tier 12 spot-fill tournament is completed. And with all of that being said, only 45 new/fairly new movies will get the final Project spots. However, there could very well be more than 45 new/fairly new movies that are Project worthy, thus one final expansion and renaming have both been applied to the aforementioned Project, which begs the question “What will be the new title of The Project?”
Well, I’ve incorporated the usage of numbers in every title of The Project, which has always made the amount of favorites completely obvious or almost obvious. But after having that comical vacuum scene from “Spaceballs” constantly play in my mind of late, I decided to change the name from Catch-22 Hundred to The Flickuum. And given that it’s been a struggle in rounding out the field for the final Tier 12 spot-fill tournament, it’s going to be very likely that more than 100 new/fairly new movies will be assessed for The Flickuum Project. And no, rooting for certain movies to fail won’t be necessary at all, although “Challengers” looks like a complete dumpster fire. But that will be inconsequential to the 15 non-winners of that final Tier 12 spot-fill tournament, as those 15 movies will be exempt from the mandate of needing a new/fairly movie to fail its assessment.
Tune in either tomorrow or Thursday to my Top 25 most anticipated movies of 2024.
