83 And Possibly Out!: Part 19

Last week’s 83 And Possibly Out! entry unpacked 30 movies that were assessed/re-assessed in an exactly three-week span, due to how busy that I was in relocating within the Tarheel State. But now that there’s more semblance of a structured schedule work and otherwise going back to last Monday (July 18), I won’t have to be playing catch up anytime soon. And given that catch up won’t have to be played anytime soon, I won’t have such lengthy Two ThouCentennial recap entries between last Tuesday (July 19) and the day (October 17) that Two ThouCentennial evaluations finally resume.

Of course, this entry won’t be anywhere as lengthy as last week’s entry, due to this most recent batch of completed assessments/re-assessments amounting to nearly a third (9) of what the activity of June 28, 2022 through last Monday (July 18, 2022) was, therefore a shorter entry this week compared to last week. And as always, you can find out which movies were assessed/re-assessed during the span of July 19, 2022 through July 25, 2022 via the chart below.

*****Denotes movies that were a part of 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 1

******Denotes movies that were added to Tier 12 after June 28, 2022

*******Denotes movies that are no longer spot fill tournament eligible

MovieIts Fate Post-Assessment/Post-Re-Assessment
Minions: The Rise Of GruThis movie is currently on The Farm Squad a.k.a. Section Two of The Tentative Roster page, as it clearly showed that it’s going to be the best Two ThouCentennial movie of 2022. It’s just a matter of hard copy confirmation.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire*****This movie is currently in Tier 9 and will be going back to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page on October 9, 2022.
I Saw The Light*****This movie has potential, but it’s up against much more worthy movies in trying to make the Project. It’s in judgment call territory right now.
Murder At Yellowstone CityAnna Camp is 4-for-9 in having movies of hers make the Project. This movie is one of the five that failed, as it’s on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
Criminal Law*******This movie is exhausting to watch, has a stupid backstory for its antagonist and has an incomplete feel to its ending. And because of all that, it’s back on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
Surviving The Game*****This movie has poor execution and will be returning to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page between now and this coming August 1.
Pirates Of The Great Salt Lake******Emily Kennard Dunn wasn’t all that dynamic in this movie. But if she were, then it wouldn’t have been placed on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page on July 25, 2022.
Monsters At LargeThis movie is riddled with bad effects, along with having both a flat Mischa Barton and a lack of Austin St. John’s swag. It will be heading to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
Thor: Love And ThunderThis movie is the best of the Thor franchise, therefore it’s going to be in the Project. It’s just a matter of hard copy confirmation, as it’s on The Farm Squad a.k.a. Section Two of The Tentative Roster page.

Well, as you saw in the chart above, an unlucky seven is likely, due to the uncertainty of I Saw The Light. But luckily, that chart also has bookend success with both Minions: The Rise Of Gru and Thor: Love And Thunder, so the activity wasn’t a complete bust.

Well, that does it for this week’s recap of Two ThouCentennial activity. Tune in next week to find out what the next round of activity entails.
