When it comes documenting Two ThouCentennial activity in increments via blog form, I usually document as such one week at a time, because usually a substantial amount of progress for it gets done within a week. And although the progress of most of last Monday (May 30) through this morning wasn’t quite done with the pace of the afternoon of May 24, 2022 through the morning part of two Mondays ago, I was able to get mostly definitive answers about this soon-to-be blogged about batch, which you can find out about via the chart below.
*****Denotes movies that were a part of 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 1
Movie | Its Fate Post-Assessment/Post-Re-Assessment |
Uncharted | It’s in Tier 9 and will be placed on The Tentative Roster page as a movie that has high franchise upside. |
X | It’s in Tier 9 and will eventually be added to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page. |
Growing Up Smith | It was recently re-added to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention, prior to the 06-03-22 Nog Report. |
King Solomon’s Mines***** | It’s in Tier 9 and will have its plot investigated to see if it’s Project worthy or not. |
Bird On A Wire***** | See three spots above. |
Playmobil: The Movie | It was added to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page, prior to the 06-05-22 Nog Report. |
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore | It’s in Section Four of The Tentative Roster page, due to how unnecessary that it and its two predecessors were/are to the Harry Potter franchise. It will eventually be going to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page. |
Salt | See six spots above. |
The Super***** | See seven spots above. |
Stealing Cars | See eight spots above. |
Martian Child***** | See nine spots above. |
K-911 | This movie got better as it went on, therefore it claiming the tentative guaranteed Two ThouCentennial spot that was revoked from Thunderball. |
So yeah, other than Uncharted and King Solomon’s Mines, every other movie in that chart above either has had or will have its final fate decided within the realm of the Mega Movie Package. Oh yes and before I wrap up this entry, three side notes, with the first being that Lust For Love was successfully obtained via hard copy, therefore it joining Saved By The Bell: Wedding In Las Vegas and 37 other movies in being on the verge of obtaining 39 of the 60 revoked tentative guaranteed Two ThouCentennial spots. As for two, The Northman got hard copy confirmation, and has since moved up to Tier 5. And three, the upcoming Idris Elba movie “Beast” and the 13 movies that were documented in “Beast And A Baker’s Dozen More” have all been deemed as movies that will be assessed before October 7, 2022, on the basis (the revamped Tier 14) that 15 Tier 12 movies fail their assessments. Plus, to add to side note number three, Red Rocket was added to Beast and those 13 other movies as the fifteenth movie in the revamped Tier 14, along with the fact that Broken Diamonds and the aforementioned Beast both qualified for Tier 12 via the fates of both Salt and Stealing Cars.
Well, that does it for this latest recap of Two ThouCentennial activity. Tune in at some point next week to find out what the latest activity entails.
