**Note: The mention of Wealth Affiliate sets up for “WordPress Story To Tell, Part 2”, which will have Steve Kaycee mentioning his past experience of attempting to work with that company, and will not be promoting e-begging/phishing/any pyramid schemes at all
For a little over nine-and-a-half years, a little over seven of which have been during the current Art Infliction era, I’ve been using the HostMetro-WordPress combination, as 1] I was able to get a very good deal for both the Art Infliction domain name/suffix and website-building package in a pinch, and 2] I built with WordPress for a little over a year from mid/late-April 2015 to late-April 2016, prior to the WebStarts version of Art Infliction getting a phishing suspicion, and found that entire experience to be increasingly comfortable. As a matter of fact, other people told me that they liked Creating Camaraderie (the then-Art Infliction subsidiary website that I used/built via WordPress) way more than the aforementioned WebStarts version of Art Infliction, due to its much neater overall interface, and I was increasingly agreeing with them. So yeah, it’s only fitting that this current and permanent (as long as I’m around) version of Art Infliction is a WordPress website.
But of course, April 29, 2015 wasn’t the day that both building a website via WordPress and integrating AdSense ads into it began. Nope, you’d have to go back a little over two weeks before that, as I first learned that stuff during my time of attempting affiliate marketing.
You see, back in early-April 2015, I was starting to feel overwhelmed by how to maintain the direction of the WebStarts version of Art Infliction, to the point that I contemplated finding someone to partner with and turn over complete ownership to that someone. Plus, I couldn’t find the banner ad company to consistently partner with as a publisher, thus causing more instability to the dream that I was trying to live. So, instead of spending that second weekend of April 2015 trying to restore the WebStarts version of Art Infliction back to its previous state, I decided to step away and revisit affiliate marketing.
Enter Wealthy Affiliate, which I’ll delve into next week, so to be continued.
