“Entry Up: Culver’s – The Colby Jack Pub Burger”
It’s been nearly five months since any of us Art Infliction members last wrote a food review, as I still haven’t talked to anyone else about writing one, along with the fact that other projects have been prioritized in the Art Infliction Content Universe since then. But now that I have time between my most recent dinner and my next assessment/re-assessment, I decided to compile the fourth such entry in as many entries.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is my review of Culver’s.
Alright, so in my Freddy’s review, I blogged about its most well-known item, which is the “Freddy’s Original Double”, thus the assumption being that “The Culver’s Deluxe” would be the topic of this entry. And of course, I was leaning that way, only to see that there was a limited time only item via the online version of their menu, entitled the “Colby Jack Pub Burger”, so I went that direction instead. And since it’s a limited time only item, here are the fixings that they put on it; melty Wisconsin Colby Jack cheese, crispy onions and A.1. Pepper Mayo to go along with two beef patties on onion-flavored burger buns. Now for my verdict via the next paragraph.
Alright, so this is my second review of a specific burger and just like that one, this one also has the taste of an old school Wendy’s burger, thus checkmark number one. And as for the fixings that I mentioned in the paragraph above, well 1] Despite the cheese being melty, it wasn’t overly melty, as I have texture issues with overly melty cheese, 2] The crispy onions provided crunch that perfectly balanced with the melty cheese, 3] The mayo was so flavorful that I had no idea that it had A.1. flavor in it until after the fact, thus making it even more flavorful, and 4] This was the first ever time that I had a burger served on onion-flavored burger buns, and while there’s typically redundancy in using those types of buns for a burger, it works here, as I love the taste of onions in my burgers. So yes, this burger checks all the boxes and is one that I suggest you try at a Culver’s near you before it’s too late.
Well, that does it for this fourth Foodie Call entry. I don’t know when entry number five will be cooked up nor do I know who will write it. Maybe it will be one of the members of The Queentet Unit, as they are all very well-spoken individuals. And should one of them write entry number five, well then maybe I should float that idea to Selina and see what she says. Only time will tell.
Until the next time.

I used to love Wendy’s…. but I never got to experience this at a young age, due to the fact that when the founder was alive I didn’t eat out much. So can’t say I got to experience what you did. But I don’t eat there. At all.
