Between September 14, 2022 and the day before this past New Year’s Eve, I didn’t find any movies that were worthy of being hard copy requested, as the eight (one of which will be covered in When The Tiffani-Amber Thiessen Paved Road Is Closed) such movies that were assessed during that span didn’t scream “too good to pass up”.
But of course, that all changed on the day before this New Year’s Eve, as well the first two days of February 2023, as three movies (two via Netflix, one via Paramount Plus) all proved themselves to be worthy of Two ThouCentennial lore. And as to what those three movies are/were, well you can find out via the chart below, as well as why they are worthy of Two ThouCentennial lore.
Movie | Why it’s worthy of Two ThouCentennial lore |
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery | It’s a good follow-up to its successful predecessor, it can be a good complimentary movie to A Simple Favor, and it features Madelyn Cline. |
Wendell & Wild | It has Coraline vibes, it features the TV On The Radio song “Wolf Like Me” and Natalie Martinez lends her voice to it. |
Teen Wolf: The Movie | It can work well in tandem with Wendell & Wild and Shelley Hennig is in it. |
Well, there you have it. The three hard copy requested movies that join a path that was blazed by Sweet Dreams and paused after Prey. And given what’s in the foreseeable pipeline (Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, John Wick: Chapter Four, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Chevalier) of getting overall guaranteed Two ThouCentennial spots, the path will pause again and pause indefinitely.
Tune into When The Tiffani-Amber Thiessen Paved Road Is Closed to find out which hard copy requested movie got purged from Two ThouCentennial consideration.
