It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about movies vying for the now Top 18 spots in Tier 12 of the Land Of Infusion page, as my early-October 2023 commitment to load-management has subsequently caused me to not constantly blog (especially about such movies) all the time.
However, I’m making an exception today, as I’ll be blogging about six movies that have been lingering in the immediate accessibility category, starting two weeks ago yesterday. And just like the previous entries that each covered multiple movies up for assessment/re-assessment, I’ll be divulging them via the chart format. Let’s begin.
Movie | Why it’s being assessed/re-assessed | How it can clinch a spot in Tier 12 |
Friday Foster | This could be the last chance for the late Godfrey Cambridge to have a movie of his make the Catch-22 Hundred Project. | It either needs an at least 3-2 record against the other five movies that are up for immediate assessment/re-assessment and/or one movie out of The Marvels, Trolls Band Together, Wish, Napoleon, Poor Things, Wonka and Migration to not pass their assessment with flying colors. |
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines | It’s got the vibes of Superman: Man Of Tomorrow, as both this movie and that movie are Warner Bros. cartoon movies that came out within a year of one another. Plus, it could finally give Marie Avgeropoulos the chance to compete March Madness style against movies that have Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Anna Camp, Melissa Barrera, Aimee Carrero and Korrina Rico. | See one spot above. |
My Best Friend’s Wife | This could be the last chance for John Stamos to have a movie of his make the Project, especially after My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 was dead on arrival. | See two spots above. |
A Most Violent Year | Trying to find another movie of its kind for the Project was impossible, so it’s back for a second re-assessment. | See three spots above. |
Quiz Lady | In a Project where the likes of A Simple Favor, Beauty And The Beast ’91 and both Saved By The Bell movies are mentally draining, this movie could be a good way to alleviate to that feeling. | See four spots above. Plus, it needs hard copy confirmation. |
Share? | It’s been five years since Danielle Campbell has appeared in a movie. And based on the trailer of this one, she’s back in a big way. | See one spot above. |
Overall, this next round of assessments/re-assessments is probably the most competitive one since the one that produced seven overall guaranteed Catch-22 Hundred movies in early-September of this year. But unlike that group, this one has six movies vying for three completely open spots, thus three movies could be in the brutal and arduous stretch of competing for the last 60 Catch-22 Hundred spots. And given that Garfield, Ballerina and A Simple Favor 2 will be among the candidates for those 60 spots, three of those chart movies could be stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Tune into the 11/10/23 and 11/12/23 Nog Reports for the results of all six chart movies.
