The Flickuum Project Plan For 9

In the protocol of selecting movies for overall guaranteed spots 2,141 through 2,170 of The Flickuum Project, nine spots remain open yet not completely open, as 14 movies will be vying for those nine spots and those 14 movies each have a unique path to punch their tickets into the 2,141 through 2,170 group. Let’s look at each path via the chart below:

MovieWhere it standsHow it can make the 2,141 through 2,170 group
12 StrongIt did better in its re-assessment, but it will go to the 2,141 through 2,170 group in a package deal with Dead Calm, Big Night and Uncharted.Given that Benji and Sueno are also in the hunt for those nine spots, it needs to 5-3 against the other movies that are up for assessment/re-assessment.
Dead CalmBoth this movie and the aforementioned 12 Strong were second place finishers in the final round of March Madness style formats, thus it has been pardoned from the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page. Plus, it can be perfect in an evaluation line-up with Taken 3, or perfect to evaluate after a viewing of the Saved By The Bell episode “The Last Dance”.See one spot above.
Big NightThis movie has a unique charm about it and has the potential to outrank the aforementioned Dead Calm. Plus, it can be perfect in an evaluation line-up with either The Menu or The Blackening.See two spots above.
UnchartedThe pet cat that Victor Sullivan gets deserves to be in Flickuum lore. Plus, this movie gives Sophia Ali a substantial role, along with this movie having a high ceiling via a potential sequel.See three spots above.
BenjiThe 1974 movie truly has a grow-on effect. Plus, it can be perfect to evaluate, following either a viewing of the Saved By The Bell episode “Driver’s Education”, or before a viewing of the Saved By The Bell episode “Snow White And The Seven Dorks”.See four spots above.
SuenoThis movie gives Ana Claudia Talancon her best immediate chance at having a movie of hers in The Project, and it’s saved by the brief appearance of Nadine Velazquez. Plus, it can either work well in a line-up with Death Race, or work well in a line-up with both Trolls Band Together and Husband For Hire.See five spots above.
New York, I Love YouIt has a great cast. However, it’s going to be assessed via Vudu, an app that hasn’t produced a Flickuum movie. Plus, there’s another potential downside, which is this movie gives You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger vibes. It needs to be outstanding to break the Vudu curse. Plus, it will need to be a Top 3 movie among the ones that have yet to be assessed/re-assessed.
White LionThis movie gives off vibes of Cheetah, a 1989 movie. However, it also has to deal with the Vudu curse.See one spot above.
Porco RossoStudio Ghibli is 2-for-4 in producing Flickuum movies, which makes this movie questionable at best.Given the power of six that is 12 Strong, Dead Calm, Big Night, Uncharted, Benji and Sueno, it will need to be a Top 3 movie among the ones that have yet to be assessed/re-assessed.
ClarityThe presence of Nadine Velazquez gives any movie a chance to make the Project. But considering that this movie could be a letdown for her, following The Bounce Back, it could be one of the next movies facing disqualification from The Project.See one spot above.
The Charnel HouseThis appears to be Nadine Velazquez’s fourth 2016 movie. But can it co-exist with her other horror movie (Within) of that year?See two spots above.
AnnapolisJames Franco has another questionable 2006 military movie in Flyboys, thus putting this one on shaky ground already.See three spots above.
Christopher RobinThis movie is neck-and-neck with Goodbye Christopher Robin, along with having the presence of Hayley Atwell. So, given those two factors, it’s going to be a force in this current assessment/re-assessment group. It simply needs to be a Top 2 movie among the ones that have yet to be assessed/re-assessed.
Chicken Run: Dawn Of The NuggetAardman has eight fully guaranteed Flickuum movies, seven of which have been enshrined into the rankings. This will most likely be number nine on both counts.See one spot above.

Yes, a lot of unique variables are in place for what could (and will) round out the 2,140 through 2,170 selection protocol. And given that some reputations will proceed this nine-movie marathon, chances are that five of the eight yet to be assessed/re-assessed movies that are not named Uncharted won’t clear this protocol. But should all 14 movies end up being Project worthy, then the five movies that could be on the outside looking in will need five new or fairly new 2024 movies to fail their assessments. Here’s looking at you, Night Swim.
