One major thorn in my side was finally removed yesterday, as the overall guaranteed Catch-22 Hundred spot that was revoked from Saltburn finally got filled via that first arduous spot-fill tournament. And not only was that spot filled because in addition, it was filled with the movie that I had wanted in that spot all along, with it being the first of the two Melissa Barrera-Jenna Ortega “Scream” movies.
Of course, one more confirmed spot-fill tournament remains, as the vacated Catch-22 Hundred spot of Next Goal Wins is on the line and six of the nine (The Last Ride, Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas Stole Christmas, Silent Night, Richard Jewell, Fantasia, War) will return for this tournament, while Scream VI will take its predecessor’s place as the number one movie of the new preseason. And as to why I say six of the nine, well both Natalie Martinez movies (Reminiscence, The Land), as well as 6 Month Rule, all had their stocks plummet between the assessment of Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas and the evaluation of Music And Lyrics, thus scouting/re-scouting will be conducted for 10 other movies, so that those three spots are filled with surefire Catch-22 Hundred movies.
Tune in tomorrow to find out what those 10 others will be.
