Previewing The Path To 1,600

Off a quick turnaround nearly 40 hours after reaching 1,400 with “Shrek Forever After”, I went right to the next increment with “First Knight” like I said I would and took some really crazy routes to eventually complete the 15th increment of 100 Flickuum evaluations. And when I mean crazy, I mean a five-completion day on the final Sunday of this most recent February, a four-completion day two days before my most recent birthday and eight wee hours doubleheaders. And while many other Art Infliction projects changed evaluation schedules more than once during this newly-completed increment, the fact is that I’ve reached it and did so with the perfect movie (John Wick: Chapter 2) to close it out. And not only was the second installment of Keanu Reeves’ career resurgence the perfect movie to close out this increment, because in addition, it has surpassed “Carmen” as the best closer of an increment. Yeah, that’s no small feat, as Melissa Barrera (the lead in the aforementioned Carmen) has become a Flickuum darling ever since I assessed of another movie of hers (In The Heights) a little over three years ago. Oh yeah, and before I preview the next incremental path, I also want to point out the fact that not one, but two movies (Spaceballs, No Strings Attached), that each inherited the longest active evaluation wait time (within a span of 27 days), got off that particular schneid during this particular increment. Alright, now it’s time to preview the path to 1,600.

Alright, so since I’ve worked my way to the 1,500s two days before the calendar turns to May, I’ve decided to do exactly one evaluation per day next month to match 05/02 with 1,502 and 05/21 with 1,521. So yeah, the crazy feats that I pulled off during this newly-completed increment won’t be happening next month and they most likely won’t be happening for the rest of 2026. Now it’s time to preview some of the upcoming evaluations via the next paragraph.

Alright, so I’ve joked that The Flickuum Project is a never-ending story, especially since I don’t have half (2,500) of my fully guaranteed movies yet, thus “The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter” will open this 16th Flickuum chapter. Second, Dwayne Johnson’s birthday is May 2 and I just so happen to have a movie of his available for evaluation that day, with it being “DC League Of Super-Pets”. Third, I’ve done 88 evaluations in 2026, thus I’m 12 away from 100, and I want to reach that feat with the third installment of the “John Wick” franchise. Fourth, the late Christopher Wallace a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G. would have been turning 54 on May 21, thus I will get “Notorious” from either eBay or Mercari, in time for it to be evaluation 1,521. Fifth, I’m 46 evaluations from completing 1,000 of them in The Tarheel State alone and I want a movie of Top 100 quality to be 1,546, thus I am going to tab “Charlie St. Cloud” for that feat. And finally, since I refer to Shemar Moore as The Flickuum President, due to his chemistry with Nadine Velazquez in the likely number one Flickuum movie, The Bounce Back, 1,600 will be his only other fully guaranteed Project movie (thus far) in “Sonic The Hedgehog 2”. Yes, those will be six of the next 100 movies that will be enshrined from this coming Saturday to the nine-year anniversary of my dog, Penny, becoming a member of my family.

Now it’s time to start the next chapter of this never-ending Flickuum story.
