May 2, 2026 Cap Space Breakdown

Preparations for what will ultimately be the group of 5,000 Flickuum movies have been ongoing before, during and after July 30, 2025.

Here on the fiftieth edition of this page, you can see a complete breakdown of the movies that are allocated to eight different categories and the amount of Pre-Final 95 cap space via the bullet points, as well as the names of movies that are currently impacted by the figure of the ninth bullet point.

Let’s begin with the bullet point list:

  • Guaranteed: 2,668
  • Next In Line To Become Guaranteed: 11
  • Movies That Can Be Next In Line Any Time Now: 12
  • Movies On The Fringes Of Becoming Next In Line: 15
  • Movies Reserved For Certain Flickuum Selection Protocols: 13
  • Tier 12 Movies That Could Be Exempted Between 04/21/26 & 05/01/26: 4
  • Tier 13 Movies That Will Be Re-Assessed: 20
  • Tiers 8 Through 10 Movies Up For Assessment/Re-Assessment: 2,257
  • Total 4,905 Overflow Or Underflow: +97

As you can see via that ninth bullet point, that +97 creates a disadvantage for 97 movies that are up for assessment/re-assessment, as well as pre-2022 movies that aren’t currently on the assessment/re-assessment roster, such as any of the umpteen Lassie movies. And while addition to that roster will continue to happen, that +97 will need to reduce significantly, in order for A] Movies currently up for assessment/re-assessment to not be impacted by this current logjam and B] A complete sweep (investigation) of every pre-2023 movie release year to be conducted, so that no stone is left unturned. Yes, most of the movies blogged about in volumes 224 through 229 of Flickasbord are among the 97 movies impacted by the +97 overflow, due to them being the newest additions to the roster. But of course, any one of those 97 can reduce the overflow, should any movie (that’s unaffected by overflow) fail its assessment/re-assessment, or they themselves pass assessment before any of those unaffected movies get assessed/re-assessed.

Well, there is addition to the layout, thus it’s time to continue to see how many of those movies in categories six through eight will make the thirty sixth round of roster-clearing.
