During part 1 of The Movies Assessed In The Unofficial Seventh Movie Assessment Marathon, I mentioned four movies (Stand Up Guys, Malcolm X, The Rhythm Section, Cats) having yet to officially complete their respective marathons, as other movies took precedent before the former two, while the same precedent can be somewhat said about the latter two, along with the fact that they (the latter two) were not accessible until their home media release dates.
Of course, Cats has since been assessed and is currently in my selection pool, while the other three will have their assessments completed by the time that this entry publishes, therefore The Fifth & 10 Movie Assessment Marathon and The Cats What’s Up! Movie Assessment Marathon both being officially complete.
Of course, attempting to find more movies that are worthy of Two Thous-Ton consideration continues to be an ongoing thing. Especially when 641 spots for that project have yet to be filled.
But between the time that I made two Jama Kramer movies (Boxboarders!, Prom Night) with one Kirby Bliss Blanton movie (Wish Man) as the building blocks for The Unofficial Seventh Movie Assessment Marathon and now, I added more movies to continue the excitement that movie assessing brings, with that number being 93 to be exact.
Now you might be wondering, “Why 93?” Well, the reigning World Series champion Washington Nationals won 93 games during the 2019 regular season to qualify for the playoffs. And since I miss baseball season in this COVID-19 captive world, along with enjoying that particular postseason run, I decided to make 93 my next amount of movie assessments for what is about to be the eighth movie assessment marathon of 2020 to pay homage to a fun time in my life as a sports fan.
Here in this entry, the 93 movie assessments are separated by four charts, as they all can’t fit into one chart. So instead, I’ve put 24 movies in Chart 1 and divided the other 69 movies amongst Charts 2 through 4. Check them all out below:
Chart 1
Movie | Why it’s being assessed |
Son Of Frankenstein | The fate of Frankenstein (Boris Karloff version) and Bride Of Frankenstein making the Two Thous-Ton Project hinge on this movie. |
Shaft (2019 version) | The fate of Shaft (2000 version) making the Two Thous-Ton Project hinges on this movie. |
Terminator Salvation | This could be for the Terminator franchise what Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is for its franchise from a good enough for the Two Thous-Ton Project standpoint. |
Terminator Genisys | This could be for the Terminator franchise what Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is for its franchise from a good enough for the Two Thous-Ton Project standpoint. |
Terminator: Dark Fate | This could be for the Terminator franchise what Mission: Impossible – Fallout is for its franchise from a good enough for the Two Thous-Ton Project standpoint. |
The Way Back (Ben Affleck movie) | This movie has the same tone as The Town, Argo and The Accountant, which are three of Affleck’s better movies. |
The Call Of The Wild (Harrison Ford version) | This movie has a chance to be yet another late-career gem from the veteran actor. Especially given what this movie is about. Cowboys & Aliens is already in the Two Thous-Ton rankings, 42 and Paranoia are both in the Evaluation Pool, and The Secret Life Of Pets 2 is one of the many movies in the Selection Pool with a legitimate chance to make it. |
I Still Believe | There’s no such thing as too much Britt Robertson in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Dark Waters | I saw the trailer for this movie when I saw Doctor Sleep in the movie theater and made a mental note to assess it. |
Leap! | It has second successful chance potential just like both Weepah Way For Now and The Lucky One. |
1917 | War movies normally have a good chance of making the Two Thous-Ton Project, thus making this movie’s chances for that very promising. |
Bloodshot | This movie could more than make up for both The Last Witch Hunter and Babylon A.D., two of the biggest flops in Vin Diesel’s career. |
Sex Ed | Haley Joel Osmont’s career is an odyssey, thus this movie being worthy of an assessment. |
The Skulls | A pre-F&F movie for the late Paul Walker that is worth checking out, simply because it was something that was different for him. |
Brick Mansions | It’s worth assessing, as it’s the last non-F&F movie in the career of the late Paul Walker. |
City Island | The second of Lynn Collins’ movies to try to fill the void left by John Carter in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Unconditional | The third of Lynn Collins’ movies to try to fill the void left by John Carter in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Lost In The Sun | The fourth of Lynn Collins’ movies to try to fill the void left by John Carter in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
The Hollow Point | The fifth of Lynn Collins’ movies to try to fill the void left by John Carter in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
The Lodge | There’s no such thing as too much Riley Keough in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Trolls World Tour | There’s no such thing as too much Anna Kendrick in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
The Goldfinch | Based on its trailer, this movie has the same artsy grit as Parasite. However, this movie will have to surpass that, as artsy grit movie trailers are a precursor to disappointing movies, which Parasite clearly is. |
40 Days And 40 Nights | The first of two Josh Harnett movies to get a chance at joining the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Deep Winter | A chance for Peyton List to more than make up for that flop known as Shuttle. |
Chart 2
Movie | Why it’s being assessed |
The Loft | There’s no such thing as too much Margarita Levieva in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
The Diary Of A Teenage Girl | See one spot above. |
The Greatest Game Ever Played | See the last spot in Chart 1. |
Office Christmas Party | If a bizarre movie such as I Love You, Man can be in the Two Thous-Ton page rankings, then this movie deserves to get assessed again. |
Paid In Full | If Next Day Air (another Wood Harris movie) can get a re-assessment, then this Wood Harris movie should as well. |
Semi-Pro | A movie that has Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson and Andre Benjamin together is worthy of a re-assessment. |
In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale | The locations of this movie alone make it worthy of a re-assessment. |
TKO | The open-ended ending has to be re-investigated, thus a re-assessment. |
Jack Frost | If Desperate Measures (another Michael Keaton) can get re-assessed, then this one should as well. |
The Glimmer Man | The presence of another Stephen (Tobolowsky) makes this movie worthy of a re-assessment. |
Fright Night | See spot 10 in Chart 1. |
Homecoming | There is no such thing as too much Jessica Stroup in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Chronicle | One of three chances for Ashley Hinshaw to have a movie of hers in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |
Into The Storm | Regarded with the aforementioned Chronicle as one of the best “found footage” movies of all-time, thus why it’s getting an assessment. |
Chalet Girl | The perfect Felicity Jones movie to finally supplant Like Crazy in the selection pool. Plus, Tamsin Egerton is in it. |
Grand Piano | The latter of the two actresses in Chalet Girl is in this movie. |
Hurricane Season | A movie where Forest Whitaker is an uplifting basketball coach? Absolutely! |
Duma | If Disney’s Cheetah can be in the Two Thous-Ton Project, then this movie deserves an assessment. |
Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead | Despite being the fifth-billed name on the cast list, Aleksa Palladino is the reason why this movie gets an assessment. |
Hanna | This movie has been overlooked for far too long. |
Cobra | Sylvester Stallone’s first attempt at being his own version of Dirty Harry. |
Gone Fishin’ | See two spots above. |
Red Tails | The fate of The Tuskegee Airmen joining the Two Thous-Ton Project hinges on this movie. |
Chart 3

Ice Age: Collision Course | See two spots above. |
Ice Age: Continental Drift | See three spots above. |
The Man Without A Face | It gives off the same early ‘90s vibe as Free Willy from a powerful movie standpoint. |
The Water Horse: Legend Of The Deep | This movie has components of three of the current top four (Babe, Dolphin Tale, How To Train Your Dragon) in the Two Thous-Ton page rankings, thus it being totally worthy of an assessment. |
Shackles | See either the fourth-to-last or second-to-last spot in Chart 2. |
Battle For Terra | The very asinine Ratchet & Clank got an evaluation before being the second movie booted out of the then Batting A Thousand Project. So with that being said, this movie deserves another assessment. |
Trust Fund | If The Hot Flashes (another Jessica Rothe movie) can get an assessment, then this movie deserves a re-assessment. |
Life (2017) | The ending of this movie makes me want to re-examine it as a whole. |
Lily & Kat | See two spots above. |

Stay | There’s no such thing as too much Taylor Schilling in the Two Thous-Ton Project. |

Lola Versus | The first of three chances for Zoe Lister-Jones to make up for both Band Aid and Stuck Between Stations flopping as assessments. |
Consumed | The second of three chances for Zoe Lister-Jones to make up for both Band Aid and Stuck Between Stations flopping as assessments. |
Arranged | The third of three chances for Zoe Lister-Jones to make up for both Band Aid and Stuck Between Stations flopping as assessments. |
