For most of this current month (May), the Camila Mendes-Maya Hawke collaboration “Do Revenge” had the inside track of being a part of the 2,101 through 2,200 selection protocol, due to its hard copy confirmation, but it needed 12 victories against movies from both Tiers 8 and 10 to officially make it. And sure enough, it got those 12 victories, as “Blame It On Rio” failed its assessment, thus making the former of the two movies the 64th one to punch its ticket to that selection protocol.
Ever since I assessed “The Break-Up Artist”, I’ve been investigating Serinda Swan’s filmography to see if she had/has any more Project worthy movies because she’s just so radiant. However, that’s not the case for the 2021 movie “Redemption Day” because the make-up artist(s) involved with that production somehow made her way less attractive than she actually is. I know, that sounds superficial, but I just didn’t like what they did with the appearance of her character, therefore it will be the fourth movie to go on the Movies That Mega Tat Refuses To See page.
And finally, the quartet of “The Sea Beast”, “Home ‘21”, “Sergio” and “Godzilla Minus One” are the next four hard copy confirmation pending movies trying to make The Project before the grueling process for selecting spots 2,301 through 2,400 finally begins. And of course, with that being said, the former of those four movies has the inside track at making it sooner rather than later, as its confirmation could come as soon as Monday, along with the possibility that “Sling Blade” could fail its re-assessment. Stay tuned.
Well, it’s time to go nuclear in clearing out Tiers 8 and 10, as I’m far behind on my goal of averaging two assessments/re-assessments per day from now through next Sunday. And given that I keep harping on May 20 as resumption day for The Flickuum Project, I better haul ass in clearing those two tiers as soon as I’m done posting today’s Nog Report on Facebook.
Until the next time.
