Given the likelihood that I won’t resume my evaluation of “First Man” until tonight, I need to fill the time between now and then, so why not an 11th hour Flickasbord entry? Besides, my surfing on the FirstShowing website brought forth one of 13 brand new additions to the assessment/re-assessment roster and I would like to put them into the Art Infliction Content Universe.
Let’s begin.
First up, let’s begin with that first of 13 brand new roster additions, as the second movie (I already blogged about In The Grey) that Eiza Gonzalez has upcoming will be available via Hulu this coming March 27. And as to what that movie is, well it’s “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice”, which is an organized crime action comedy, also featuring Vince Vaughn and James Marsden. But of course, the draw for me here is Gonzalez, whom is the number one actress on the call sheet, thus I’ll be making plans to assess it via the aforementioned Hulu 26 days from now.
Prior to both “The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee” and “Black Swan” just being added to Tier 13, there were 40 movies color-coded in blue via that tier, and I’ve blogged about why 11 of them will get another shot at joining the group, that was first started by “Wildcats” and last extended by “Semi-Pro”. And after looking at that blue title range, nearly half of it (18) was almost remained on the chopping block, only for all 18 of those movies having reasons why they should each be spared from the eventual fate of my two most recent re-assessments. Of course, I’ll blog about why I re-assessed them and their outcomes at a yet to be determined date, thus I will merely mention each of them by title via the pointed list below:
- Christmas In Compton
- I Origins
- Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist
- The Beaver
- Man Up
- My Giant
- Good Morning, Vietnam
- Absolute Power
- Stand Up Guys
- Love Story
- Bodies Bodies Bodies
- The Country Bears
- Kiki’s Delivery Service
- Everyone’s Hero
- Kill The Irishman
- Corporate Animals
- Bubble Boy
- Mama’s Boy
And finally, I had the list of the other 12 brand new roster additions kicking around as possible impromptu assessments since the first Friday of December 2025, only for me to have a prior list of impromptu assessments. So, to avoid confusion between the two lists, I’ve decided to add the former of the two mentioned lists to the roster. And of course, I will cite the 12 movies and their reasons for roster addition via the typical chart format:
| Movie | Why it will be assessed non-impromptu style |
| Father Of The Bride ‘91 | The Andy Garcia version being in Tier 5 makes me want to see how this version compares to it. |
| Father Of The Bride Part II | This movie builds on the continuity of its predecessor, therefore it will be assessed. |
| Heart Condition | Denzel Washington returning as a ghost, whom asks Bob Hoskins to avenge his death, has bonkers good time written all over it. |
| I Love Boosters | The third Eiza Gonzalez movie that will come out in 2026, and it will be a part of the May leg for this year’s theatrical tour. Plus, I don’t want “The Substance” to be Demi Moore’s final chronological Flickuum movie. |
| Apprentice To Murder | This movie could extend Mia Sara’s Flickuum run, as both “Legend” and “Timecop” will be enshrined this month. |
| Con Man | Armand Assante is the top-billed name, but the true lead is Justin Baldoni, and I want to see if he will have Flickuum movies besides “The House Bunny” and “It Ends With Us”. |
| Chariot | There is no such thing as too much Rosa Salazar in The Project. |
| Brain Smasher…A Love Story | Teri Hatcher’s Flickuum run is almost over, as “Resurrecting The Champ” could be evaluated any day now. This movie (and possibly Soap Dish) can extend it. |
| Swindle | There is no such thing as too much Ariana Grande in The Project. |
| Long Shot | Given that this movie came up around the time that the “Dumbo” remake was in the embryonic stages of making Flickuum waves, as well as the time that four complimentary movies to “Desperado” were assessed, it’s worthy of an assessment and can compliment either of those movies. |
| Nymphomaniac: Vol. I | This movie sets the stage for the one that’s listed directly below it. |
| Nymphomaniac: Vol. II | The presence of Mia Goth is why this movie and its predecessor will be assessed. |
Well, after crunching the numbers of all the movies mentioned in this entry, along with those 11 Tier 13 retreads and the current amount of 28 fringe Flickuum movies, only one “pre-Dream Scenario” spot remains open. Or should I say remained, as I almost forgot to count the Top 7 Tier 12 movies, thus causing the first overage in “pre-Dream Scenario” spots since the maximum amount of Flickuum movies expanded to 5,000 during late-July 2025. So, with that being said, I’m going to have to re-activate the Over Capacity page, if I can’t shed six movies off the amount of them that are up for assessment/re-assessment between now and a week from tomorrow. Yes, my Flickuum related work continues to be cut out for me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, as it keeps the creative juices flowing. And while 2,252 decisions are a lot to make, they will all be made, however long that they will all take.
Until the next time.
