Flickasbord, Volume 216

**Note: The following content has controversial wording. Discretion is advised

I was supposed to complete the archive process of Volume 211 two days ago, only to decide to embed the entry of this most recent Thursday within this page (Extra Sessions), thus why I’m writing an entry for a second time in three days. But just as well, because I already had four Flickasbord entry reminders written down beforehand, thus no shoehorning of this entry.

Let’s begin.

First up, I have to disagree with my fellow content creator The Nostalgia Critic about Candace Cameron getting consistently hotter as she got older on “Full House”, because I never found her to be appealing at all and I still feel that way today, whereas I found Winnie (Danica McKellar) on “The Wonder Years” to be criminally underrated, especially looking at her main IMDB filmography picture early-ish yesterday. So, given that, along with me wanting “post-Sidekicks” redemption for her, I’ve gone ahead and added the movie “Mancation” to the roster, because she deserves to be a part of Flickuum lore.

Next up, I thought that I was done granting re-assessments to Tier 13 retreads after looking at everything that was color-coded in blue two-plus nights ago. But after thinking that it would be cool to have the acting debut of Eiza Gonzalez (Casi Treinta) in The Project, along with the acting debuts of both Nadine Velazquez (Biker Boyz) and Melissa Barrera (L For Leisure), I decided to add the former of the three movies to the list of Tier 13 retreads that are up for re-assessment. And given the amount of non-evaluation time that I still have for the remainder of this month, seeing the former of those three movies from that perspective could happen sooner than expected. Stay tuned.

And finally, what’s a Flickasbord entry without movies that are 2023 and newer, as the final 95 Flickuum spots will be geared towards movies that fall under that category. But of course, that rule doesn’t apply to all such movies, as quite a few of them already have overall guaranteed Flickuum spots. And while these four soon to be announced movies also fall under that category, they too could be punch their Flickuum tickets just like “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple” did three days ago. And as to what those four movies are, well they are 1] Kangaroo, because it’s giving off vibes that are similar to another 2025 movie in “Runt”, 2] The Last Gunfight, because it looks like another one of those bonkers good time action movies, 3] Undertone, because it’s an A24 movie and could be Nina Kiri’s introduction into The Project and 4] Clika, because its vibe reminds me some of the Latin-themed movies that I like. Now let’s wait and see if any of these four movies can avoid the dreaded indefinite battle, known as Tier 12.

Well, 2026 has been a very slow year in amassing new Project movies, as only four movies that were assessed/re-assessed this calendar year have been placed in Tier 5. But assuming that I won’t have indefinite internet connectivity issues (winter storm) in accessing all of the various queues that I rely on in assessing/re-assessing movies, that number could very well increase between now and midnight next Sunday.

Until the next time.
