Flickasbord, Volume 210

**Note: The following content has controversial wording. Discretion is advised

With how I have mapped out both the rest of 2025 and nearly the first third of 2026, I thought what better day than today to post this 210th Volume, especially since I have amassed content points ahead of time. Plus, I want to have variance in today’s Nog Report, thus another reason why this entry has been written.

Let’s begin.

First up, watching an episode of “Jeopardy!” late last week, I noticed a still of a movie with an animation style similar to both “Spider-Verse” movies, which planted the seed of assessment in my mind. And thanks to the then-reigning champion Harrison, I found out the name of that movie, with it being “KPop Demon Hunters”. And given that my 2025 evaluation schedule is winding down, I’ll add it to my Netflix queue as something to possibly assess before the calendar turns to 2026. Stay tuned.

Next up, back when I first saw the trailer for the movie “W.”, there was no way that I could fathom Josh Brolin portraying George W. Bush. But after finding out that he’s more way versatile than I first realized, I decided to place the 2008 movie on the assessment/re-assessment roster like I did with “Vice” last month. Alright, and now that I’ve blogged about another political biopic for Land Of Infusion purposes for the second time in a little over a month, my self-imposed jurisdiction of not talking about politics on this website is back in effect.

There is going to be a 14th hate-watch of “Green Lantern”, as two more pardons have been granted on this wild and whacky Day 2,721. And as to what to what those two pardons are, well they are 1] Gone Fishin’ since watching “Casino” two nights ago makes me want to see some more of Joe Pesci, and 2] American Justice since the 2015 movie will give Vida Guerra a role that is bigger than her role in “National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze 2: College @ Sea”. Plus, those two pardons aren’t all in this paragraph, because in addition, “Los Frikis” has been issued an HCC designation in Tier 7, as I can’t fathom having it hang onto one of the final 95 Flickuum spots for an indefinite amount of time. And given that the physical media item of it is available via Amazon, I’ll order it to see if it’s legitimate or not. Stay tuned.

And finally, whenever I get a lot done in a short amount of time, I think of all those times that Simeon Rice amassed stretches of defensive dominance for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, because I find all of that to be very inspiring. And given that I’m one evaluation away from 1,400, I’ll throw on that number 97 jersey later today, in preparation for my wee hours evaluation of “Shrek Forever After”. But of course, this paragraph isn’t about the soon-to-be 1,400th evaluation. Instead, it’s an ode to the 2002 NFC sack leader, as I have added his sole directorial full-length movie “Unsullied” to the roster. Of course, this will be the first ever athlete-directed movie that I’ll see, but I think that my all-time favorite Buccaneers player’s past commitment to film school will result in the 2014 movie clinching an overall guaranteed Flickuum spot.

Well, given the heavy commitment to evaluations, which occurred from the night of Thanksgiving Eve 2025 to the early afternoon of this most recent Wednesday, only one movie (Piglet’s Big Movie) has punched a ticket to Tier 5 in that time. But given that there will be ample opportunities to add to the total of 453 Tier 5 movies for the rest of 2025, that 453 will no doubt increase and names like Nadine Velazquez, Jennifer Lopez, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek will each play a part in that.

Until the next time.
