Flickasbord, Volume 150

**Note: The following content has adult wording. Discretion is advised

Well, it took me about a week to see how many more Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention movies were worthy of re-assessments. And as it turned out, 347 more of those particular movies each presented themselves as such. So, with that being said, you can find out all 347 such movies and the reasons why they all have been chosen to be re-assessed via the very long list below. Plus, not only can they be seen via the very long list below because in addition, all 347 such movies are ranked based on the best chance to make The Flickuum Project, with “1” being the highest and “347” being the lowest.

Yes, there’s a lot to unpack here with these 347 pardoned movies, so grab a snack and a soda to see their names, along with where they rank.

Happy reading!

The 347 Pardoned Movies:

  1. Forever Young-The utilization of the Rod Stewart song of the same name in this movie is brilliant, and is the reason why this movie has the best chance out of all 347 of these pardoned movies in making The Project.
  2. My Family-This movie can close out an evaluation line-up like “Selena” or lead one off like “In The Timer Of The Butterflies”.
  3. The Rookie ’02-This movie is conjoined with “Invincible”, thus The Project can’t have one movie without the other.
  4. Hooking Up-Go Back To China is Anna Akana’s best movie, thus rendering all of her subsequent movies as complete letdowns. However, this movie could overcome that stigma.
  5. Slumberland-The pig stuffed animal that Nemo is attached to in this movie is deserving of Flickuum lore.
  6. Bull-If the ending can be deemed as satisfactory, then this movie will punch its ticket into The Project.
  7. Stowaway-For some reason, this movie gives off “Uncut Gems” vibes and could be neck-and-neck with the Eiza Gonzalez-led movie “Ash”.
  8. The Day Shall Come-The fact that this movie was assessed during the same week that “Go Back To China” was assessed could bode well.
  9. 12 Mighty Orphans-If the ridiculous elements of early scenes can be overcome, then this movie will get in the movie end zone, known as The Flickuum.
  10. Heart Of Champions-This movie could be neck-and-neck with the movie that’s ranked directly above it.
  11. The Man In The Iron Mask-This movie was Leonardo DiCaprio’s first “post-Titanic” movie and it proved to not be a letdown, following the 1997 smash-hit.
  12. Blade Runner-This movie is just way too iconic to not be a part of The Project.
  13. Blade Runner 2049-Harrison Ford comes out of the bullpen to form a great tandem with Ryan Gosling.
  14. Cold Pursuit-This movie could outrank both “A Walk Among The Tombstones” and “Non-Stop”, as all three movies are Liam Neeson movies.
  15. Against The Ropes-If “Yes Man” can get re-assessed, then this movie should be as well since they were assessed/re-assessed back-to-back during November 2017.
  16. Super Troopers-This movie is the perfect Saturday evaluation.
  17. Super Troopers 2-Despite its very high ranking in this entry, this movie is no where near as good as its predecessor.
  18. Father Of Invention-This movie could be a second Flickuum one for both Anna Anissimova and John Stamos.
  19. An American Tail-2D-animated movies via Universal Pictures are slowly yet surely becoming successful in making The Project, with such examples being “Rock-A-Doodle” and “The Land Before Time”. This movie could follow in those footsteps.
  20. An America Tail: Fievel Goe West-See one spot above.
  21. Shaft’s Big Score!-All five “Shaft” movies need to stick together for continuity purposes.
  22. Shaft In Africa-See one spot above.
  23. Keanu-This movie got assessed in that nine-plus month boomtown range, which featured three of Nadine Velazquez’s best movies in “Flight”, “Snitch” and “The Bounce Back”, thus that association strengthens this movie’s case at making The Project.
  24. Admission-The only thing holding this movie back is if the end is complete or not.
  25. The Forbidden Kingdom-Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie is every martial arts fan’s dream come true.
  26. Nighthawks-This movie has the classic late 1970s/early 1980s R-Rated movie vibe.
  27. Absolutely Anything-The late Robin Williams doing the voice of Dennis The Dog deserves to be a part of Flickuum lore.
  28. Defendor-This movie could be neck-and-neck with “Super” in The Project.
  29. Bachelorette-The trio of Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzie Caplan might be more than enough for this movie to make The Project.
  30. Drop Dead Gorgeous-Mockumentary movies are a mixed bag, as for every “Best In Show”, there is “A Mighty Wind”. This movie could trend towards the former, due to the aspect of Kirsten Dunst vs. Denise Richards.
  31. Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull-This movie expands upon a certain aspect of “Raiders Of The Lost Ark” in a uniquely creative way.
  32. Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny-This movie is better than “Jaws: The Revenge”, from the standpoint of both movies being the ones that closed out their respective franchises.
  33. Be Kind Rewind-Jack Black and Mos Def are folk heroes in this movie, which gives it its charm.
  34. Camp X-Ray-This Kristen Stewart movie trends more towards the range of “Panic Room” and less towards the range of “Love Lies Bleeding”, which are both overall guaranteed Flickuum movies. So either way, it will beat the New Year’s Day 2027 deadline.
  35. Species-Natasha Henstridge is too good to have just one Flickuum movie (Maximum Risk), thus this one will be her second one. Plus, it can work well with either “Empire” or “The Bounce Back”.
  36. Harry Brown-Michael Caine goes John Wick. And given the impact that the most recent fully guaranteed Flickuum movie has had in The Project since its early-March 2023 assessment, that bodes well for this movie.
  37. Being Flynn-Olivia Thirlby doesn’t have as big a role as I had originally thought, but that most likely won’t have any negative impact on this movie.
  38. Mystery Men-This movie could be another “Mouse Hunt”, meaning that it could be a panned theatrical outing turned success via re-assessment.
  39. Everyone’s Hero-This movie was a passion project for the late Christopher Reeve, so it’s almost impossible to lambast it.
  40. Lemon-This movie’s comp is “Lightyears”, due to movie both movies being bizarre character-driven movies.
  41. The Haunted Mansion-The 2023 remake is already an overall guaranteed Flickuum movie, thus causing the stock of this movie to rise.
  42. Gone-The ending of this movie is a little more complete than the ultra clever 2021 movie “The Little Things”.
  43. EuroTrip-This movie shouldn’t have its fate tied to “Road Trip”.
  44. Meatballs-This movie’s sequels take some bizarre turns that don’t fit with its vibe, therefore it will be judged on its own merits.
  45. Thanksgiving-Given that the fountain of youth always seem to find Gina Gershon, I retract my statement of her being miscast in her role as Amanda. Plus, this movie could be a good complimentary movie to “Husband For Hire”.
  46. In The Time Of The Butterflies-The one thing that this movie has in its favor is that it was re-assessed before three Project movies in “Twisters”, “Two Times You” and “Chasing Papi”.
  47. There Will Be Blood-The ending of this movie will be the difference between whether Daniel Day-Lewis secures a second Flickuum movie or not.
  48. Spare Parts-A PenaVega (Carlos and Alexa) collaboration needs to be in The Project.
  49. The Dreamers-This movie is unflinching and movies like it are needed in The Project. This one will probably be the first of the 347 to be assessed/re-assessed before the assessment of “Sacudete Las Penas” and the re-assessment of “A Day In The Life”, as I want both Melissa Barrera and Nadine Velazquez to come after Eva Green.
  50. The Spiderwick Chronicles-The domination of the Harry Potter franchise opens the door for this movie.
  51. The Last Mimzy-See one spot above.
  52. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe-See two spots above.
  53. The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian-See three spots above.
  54. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader-See four spots above.
  55. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice-See five spots above.
  56. Mrs. Brown-The dynamic between Judi Dench and Billy Connolly makes this movie tick.
  57. The Astronaut Farmer-This movie could outrank “Sling Blade”, as both movies are Billy Bob Thornton movies.
  58. The Tiger Rising-This movie has a “Secondhand Lions” vibe about it.
  59. Shoot ‘Em Up-This movie is the combination of “Smokin’ Aces” via the high-energy action and “Eastern Promises” via the main protagonist having to protect an infant.
  60. Good Morning, Vietnam-The Big Lebowski and National Lampoon’s Animal House are those textbook rebellion movies to watch after having a burger. This movie could be such a movie as well.
  61. Superbad-Sacramento looks like a very good movie and it’s being compared to this movie, thus why this one will be re-assessed.
  62. Lowriders-The movie that’s listed directly above it somewhat veers off towards the end, while this one loses focus towards the end. Can that focus be justified somehow?
  63. A Better Life-This movie is tethered together with the movie that’s listed directly above it, as both movies are Demian Bichir movies.
  64. Gemini-There’s no such thing as too much Lola Kirke in The Project, although the ending makes or breaks this movie.
  65. Trespass-This movie comes down to the judgment call of how overreaching that both Vince and Don are about confronting King James and his gang.
  66. Hard Candy-The two sides at fault aspect works in “Law Abiding Citizen” and it could work here.
  67. Beverly Hills Ninja-This movie could be neck-and-neck with “Black Sheep”.
  68. Stir Crazy-Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor appeared in two Flickuum movies together. This one could be number three.
  69. The Thing-Five of the “Alien” movies and “Ash” have all caused the stock of this movie to rise.
  70. Event Horizon-See one spot above.
  71. Bangkok Dangerous-This movie could fill the “Only God Forgives” void in The Project.
  72. 47 Meters Down-Due to Blake Lively turning all of her Flickuum movies into fair game, this movie could upset “The Shallows” in the rankings.
  73. Red Corner-This movie has Saturday evaluation written all over it.
  74. Breakdown-This is one of the most tense movies that I’ve ever seen and this Project lacks this movie’s style of tense, thus it will be back in The Project. It’s just a matter of what dynamic Flickuum movie that it can pair up with come evaluation time.
  75. Internal Affairs-This movie is neck-and-neck with the one that’s ranked directly above it.
  76. The Curse Of The Golden Flower-This movie’s Flickuum fate is predicated on “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
  77. Kung Fu Hustle-Quentin Tarantino had a hand in this movie being made, so it’s at least worthy of a re-assessment.
  78. Bridge Of Spies-If the only issue in this movie is Mark Rylance not even trying to do a Russian accent, then that’s a very petty gripe to have, especially since “Medieval” made The Project without a problem at all.
  79. Major League: Back To The Minors-No Jake Taylor, no Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughan and no Willie Mays Hayes. But no problem, as this movie is the perfect one to watch via its chill vibe before going to sleep.
  80. The Outfit-This movie has “Love Hurts” vibes about it.
  81. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy-This movie could be neck-and-neck with the one that’s listed directly above it.
  82. The Gunman-This movie has the vibe of a Saturday afternoon evaluation, and could benefit in a line-up with both a Nadine Velazquez movie and a Melissa Barrera movie.
  83. Colors-The question is does this movie have a finished feel or not?
  84. After The Fox-Can this movie regain the same late-August 2004 magic that it had or will it be a third Peter Sellers “bubble” movie?
  85. Born In East L.A.-This movie could outrank “Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie” a.k.a. the 1,046th enshrined Flickuum movie.
  86. The Silence Of The Lambs-Magazine Dreams has one small aspect that reminds me of this movie, thus why it’s one of the 347.
  87. Solace-Anthony Hopkins returns to his familiar roots of a doctor aiding the FBI, but will this movie be as good as the first movie in which portrayed Hannibal Lecter?
  88. The Dukes Of Hazzard-Jessica Simpson is an awful actress in “Employee Of The Month”, but she fits perfectly into this movie.
  89. Driving Miss Daisy-The friendship between Hoke and the titular character deserves to be a part of Flickuum lore.
  90. Interstellar-Christopher Nolan-directed movies have a 5-2 record in making The Project. This one could make it 6-2.
  91. Answer This!-Given that the Flickuum stock really plummeted for “Another Time” in late-October 2023, this movie has a chance to outrank it, on the basis of both movies being Arielle Kebbel movies.
  92. Adrift-Movies in Spanish and Portuguese with English subtitles have Saturday night evaluation written all over them for some reason. This movie is one of those movies.
  93. Casa Grande-See one spot above.
  94. The Girl Next Door-The sudden positive change of mind about “Anora” could really help this movie’s cause.
  95. The 9th Life Of Louis Drax-The aspect of the boundaries between fantasy and reality makes this movie worthy of a re-assessment.
  96. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind-This movie was assessed before “The Girl On The Train” back in April 2018, so that association could help its chances of making The Project.
  97. Downsizing-This movie will either be a whimsically pleasant surprise like “Big Fish” or be a pompously padded-out piece of garbage like “Asteroid City”.
  98. Donnie Brasco-Out of the 15 movies that I rented via Apple in December 2016, this movie was one of those 15 and could be back in The Project via its association with the 11 such movies that have already made it.
  99. Next Day Air-This movie could be Yasmin Deliz’s only shot at Flickuum lore.
  100. 100.Little Man-This movie is a Flickuum “have to have it” for Shawn Wayans, as he is the only one of the four most notable Wayans Brothers without a Flickuum movie.
  101. 101.Code Of Silence-This movie might be the R-Rated Chuck Norris movie that makes The Project.
  102. 102.Empire Of The Sun-Christian Bale cites his role in this movie as one of the roles that defined his career, so it has a chance to make The Project on that basis alone.
  103. 103.The Last Emperor-The Project can’t have “Empire Of The Sun” without this movie.
  104. 104.Angus-This movie could fill the “Napoleon Dynamite” void in The Project just as long as it isn’t re-assessed after a viewing of “The Prom” a.k.a. my favorite Saved By The Bell episode.
  105. 105.Edge Of Darkness-This Mel Gibson movie has that classic “non-Lethal Weapon” R-Rated vibe.
  106. 106.The Quick And The Dead-This could be the second Flickuum western movie that featured the late Gene Hackman.
  107. 107.Celeste & Jessie Forever-On one hand, the “Forever” part of the title might be a little misleading. But on the other hand, it could mean that both main characters will be friends forever.
  108. 108.Father Stu-The titular character calling it off with Carmen is similar to the movie ranked directly above it, and the extra stuff in the closing credits kind of reminds me of the beginning of the closing credits for “The Unbreakable Boy”.
  109. 109.Nothing But The Truth-What could help this movie’s cause is that it was assessed four days before “The Help” was assessed.
  110. 110.Seven Pounds-What could help this movie’s cause is the fact that it was assessed during the time that “The Hurricane Heist” was assessed.
  111. 111.The Theory Of Everything-A movie about the late Stephen Hawking needs to be in The Project.
  112. 112.Sneakers-It’s rare that two late legends (Sidney Poitier, James Earl Jones) appeared in the same movie, so that alone makes this worthy of a re-assessment.
  113. 113.Ernest Saves Christmas-Ernest P. Worrell was/is disaster-prone in both “Ernest Goes To Camp” and “Ernest Scared Stupid”, so why should this movie be denied the opportunity that each of those movies have gotten?
  114. 114.JFK-Tommy Lee Jones seems miscast as Clay Shaw, but this movie might be too strong to be derailed by that.
  115. 115.Swingers-Made will be assessed and this movie could be better than that one.
  116. 116.Queen Of The Damned-The late Aaliyah needs to be a part of Flickuum lore.
  117. 117.Clear And Present Danger-The presence of Joaquin de Almeida elevates this movie.
  118. 118.Patriot Games-This movie is a better as a lead-off movie in an evaluation line-up, and not something that comes after movies that feature Nina Dobrev, Emma Roberts, Eiza Gonzalez, Lucy Hale, Dianna Agron and Laura Ashley Samuels.
  119. 119.The Hunt For Red October-On the surface level, this movie being rated PG might be corny, but it does set the stage for its two more grown-up sequels.
  120. 120.Burnt-This Bradley Cooper movie is equally (if not more than) deserving of being in The Project as the one that’s listed directly below it.
  121. 121.Yes Man-The fact that Carl takes the “say yes” method way too far, and the presence of Danny Masterson both could have this movie challenge “California Solo” for DEAD LAST in The Project.
  122. 122.Duke-Hallmark movies are hit-and-miss, thus the question of which category does this movie fall under?
  123. 123.Gone Girl-This movie has a stacked-cast, but its downfall could be the ending.
  124. 124.City Hall-1998 was a big year in assessing Al Pacino movies and this was the one that started it all. However, that won’t guarantee it a Project spot, as “The Devil’s Advocate” and “Sea Of Love” both failed to make The Project.
  125. 125.Furlough-La La Anthony can be effective as an actress in very small doses, although she played herself in both “Soul Plane” and “You Got Served”. She plays an actual character in this movie and history is not on her side, as both “Think Like A Man” movies and “Baggage Claim” all failed to make The Project.
  126. 126.Blood In The Water-How the ending of this movie is interpreted will determine its Flickuum status.
  127. 127.Lionheart-Jean-Claude Van Damme was a force throughout the 1990s, as eight of his movies from that decade all punched tickets into The Project. This one could be number nine.
  128. 128.For A Good Time, Call…-This movie has “Lola Versus” vibes about it.
  129. 129.Palm Springs-Time loop movies have proven to be successful in making The Project, as “Groundhog Day”, “Before I Fall” and both “Happy Death Day” movies have all punched their Flickuum tickets. This one could join those four.
  130. 130.Vacation Friends-If “Palm Springs” can be re-assessed, then this movie should be as well since both movies are Meredith Hagner movies.
  131. 131.Thelma & Louise-This movie seems like something that would set the blueprint for “Love Lies Bleeding”.
  132. 132.Pitch Black-This movie is tethered together with the five “Alien” installments, “Ash”, “The Thing”, its first sequel and “Event Horizon”.
  133. 133.The Chronicles Of Riddick-This movie is tethered together with the five “Alien” installments, “Ash”, “The Thing”, its predecessor and “Event Horizon”.
  134. 134.Just Buried-Between the evaluations of “Gang Related” and “The Secret Of Roan Inish”, this was one of the seven movies that was assessed/re-assessed. And given the presence of Rose Byrne, it could be the third (and final) of those seven movies to make The Project, as “Amsterdam” and “DuckTales The Movie: Treasure Of The Lost Lamp” are the others.
  135. 135.The Ladykillers-Tom Hanks looking like an over the top and evil version of Colonel Sanders warrants a second re-assessment for this movie.
  136. 136.Diner-This movie could fill the “Odd Jobs” void in The Project.
  137. 137.The New Romantic-If “The Perfect Date” can be re-assessed, then this one should be as well.
  138. 138.The Night Before-This movie was assessed after “San Andreas” and re-assessed before all the Saved By The Bell plot jots, which makes it hard to determine where it can potentially fit in an evaluation line-up.
  139. 139.Killerman-Diane Guerrero has three foreseeable chances at getting a live-action movie of hers in The Project, so there is no pressure on this one to perform.
  140. 140.Bad Milo-This movie is a horror-comedy version of “Bad Johnson” a.k.a. the 661st enshrined Flickuum movie.
  141. 141.Two For The Money-The fact that this movie was assessed when “A Better Life” was assessed, and when “Lowriders” was re-assessed is why this movie will be re-assessed.
  142. 142.Hangman-This movie might be a smidge better than “88 Minutes”, which isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement.
  143. 143.Stand Up Guys-The question of who has the upper hand in the Val and Doc vs. Claphands showdown in this movie is a judgment call, and that judgment call will be all the difference in whether this movie will make it into The Project or not.
  144. 144.The Rum Diary-Given the plummeting reputations of both Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, maybe a Flickuum movie that has both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard isn’t so bad after all.
  145. 145.London Fields-See one spot above.
  146. 146.The Voices-Anna Kendrick and Gemma Arterton together in this movie could be just enough for it to make The Project.
  147. 147.Escape From Planet Earth-The question about this movie is does the character “Io” really live on The Sun or not?
  148. 148.Infinity Pool-It’s either this movie, “The Argument” or both for Cleopatra Coleman movies in which she has a substantial role.
  149. 149.The Hero Of Color City-This movie is either an hour-plus bad Saturday morning cartoon or a surprise computer-animated success like “Doogal”.
  150. 150.Pretty Persuasion-Given that the pay-off for Kimberly is open to interpretation, this movie could be the eighth, ninth or tenth Flickuum movie for Evan Rachel Wood.
  151. 151.The Ides Of March-Swing Vote is better than this movie, but this movie has a more complete ending.
  152. 152.Some Kind Of Wonderful-This movie paved the way for two enshrined Flickuum movies in “Trojan War” and “Sex Drive”, and two Flickuum hopefuls in “When We First Met” and “The Perfect Date”. So, given all of that, this movie will be an unlikely addition to The Project.
  153. 153.Edge Of Tomorrow-If both “Oblivion” and “War Of The Worlds” can be re-assessed, then this movie should as well.
  154. 154.Windtalkers-A certain aspect of this movie needs to be re-investigated. And should that investigation be a successful one, then this movie will be in Tier 7 with a 40F designation.
  155. 155.Seven Psychopaths-It’s going to be worth re-investigating who the seven titular psychopaths are.
  156. 156.The Sweetest Thing-The fashion montage involving both Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate is a little cringy, but this movie could give Selma Blair at least one Project movie.
  157. 157.Leatherheads-This movie is a callback to the leather football helmet days, but it does raise potential safety concerns in the modern world.
  158. 158.The Trouble With Bliss-This movie is similar to “Weakness”, the latter of which failed its second re-assessment back in early-June 2022.
  159. 159.Bones And All-Out of all the Mark Rylance movies in this entry, this one might be the only one that won’t get a fully guaranteed Flickuum spot, on the basis of its subject matter.
  160. 160.Fried Green Tomatoes-If “The Menu” can be in The Project, and if both “Corporate Animals” and “Bones And All” can be re-assessed, then this movie deserves to be re-assessed as well.
  161. 161.Magic Mike’s Last Dance-The conclusion of this franchise doesn’t feel complete without this movie.
  162. 162.Stars At Noon-This movie seems like something that can be a good complimentary movie to “Husband For Hire”.
  163. 163.Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania-Magazine Dreams proved that Jonathan Majors can sound convincing in any voice that he does for any role, thus why this one is getting a second chance.
  164. 164.Yesterday-On the surface, a glitch altering the entire world sounds like a headache. But compared to “Idiocracy”, this movie is a walk in the park.
  165. 165.Blinded By The Light-The son-father dynamic between Javed and Malik deserves to be a part of Flickuum lore.
  166. 166.Immortals-There is not enough Frieda Pinto in The Project.
  167. 167.Parental Guidance-A Billy Crystal movie that could compliment a Nadine Velazquez movie or Monica Barbaro movie is needed in The Project. This movie could fit that bill.
  168. 168.Batman & Robin-Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania opens the door for this movie.
  169. 169.Danny Collins-The music in this movie was so dull that I listened to the instrumental “Reponds-nous”, which is on the soundtrack of the Melissa Barrera movie “Carmen”, during its second re-assessment. But this movie does have a lot going for it, so it could make The Project after its third re-assessment.
  170. 170.Alexander-Angelina Jolie (who is older than Colin Farrell, but by less than a year) playing his mother in this movie is a stretch, even by movie standards.
  171. 171.Vivo-This movie could be a “post-In The Heights” letdown for Lin-Manuel Miranda.
  172. 172.Vehicle 19-It’s been a little over 10 years since I’ve been tracking every movie that I’ve seen from Valentine’s Day 2015 to now. This was the one that started it all, but it’s one of the weaker final movies in the career of the late Paul Walker.
  173. 173.Pawn Shop Chronicles-The fact that a certain scene is a little repetitive towards the end of this movie is an unfortunate blemish on the career of the late Paul Walker.
  174. 174.The Circle-The plot of this movie will have anyone feel as if they’re constantly running in circles.
  175. 175.In The Valley Of Elah-This movie could suffer from the same fate as “Rules Of Engagement”.
  176. 176.Once Upon A Time In America-The bloated runtime causes this movie to lose its crispness.
  177. 177.Mean Streets-If the movie that’s ranked directly above it can be re-assessed, then this one should be re-assessed as well.
  178. 178.Primal Fear-The question is whether this movie has a complete ending or not.
  179. 179.25th Hour-The skipping town aspect and what Monty’s life is going to be, according to his father, could doom this movie.
  180. 180.Gia-This movie could suffer the same fate as “Blonde”.
  181. 181.Napoleon-The possible success of “The Last King Of Scotland” could bode well for this movie.
  182. 182.Her-This movie might have influenced Joaquin Phoenix to accept the offer of being cast in “Beau Is Afraid”, which might not be a good thing.
  183. 183.Beau Is Afraid-And speaking of this movie, it’s in this group, as one Ari Aster-directed movie needs to be in The Project.
  184. 184.The Gambler-The best way to get a good read on this movie is to keep it as far away from the 2019 version of “Dumbo” as possible, because this movie had the unfair feat of being the next assessment/re-assessment after the assessment of The Flickuum’s number one Disney movie.
  185. 185.Rough Night-The Project might not be big enough for both this movie and “Bridesmaids”, the latter of which was the 622nd enshrined Flickuum movie.
  186. 186.The Art Of War-This movie is leaning towards “Boiling Point” territory, near “Drop Zone” territory and no where near “Money Train” territory. Yes, The Flickuum’s second-best 1995 movie has set a very high bar that other subsequent Wesley Snipes movies have struggled to reach.
  187. 187.Never Let Me Go-Out of all the Keira Knightley movies that failed their assessments in October 2023, this one might be the best of that lot.
  188. 188.The Edge Of Love-Out of all the Keira Knightley movies that failed their assessments in October 2023, this one might be the second best of that lot.
  189. 189.A Dangerous Method-Out of all the Keira Knightley movies that failed their assessments in October 2023, this one might be the third best of that lot.
  190. 190.Anna Karenina-Movies based on books are a mixed bag, with both versions of “Little Women” making The Project, while “American Assassin” was a complete letdown. This movie falls somewhere in the middle of that spectrum, thus the jury is still out.
  191. 191.The Duchess-Keira Knightley has a knack for appearing in period piece movies, although her four “Pirates Of The Caribbean” movies and “Colette” more than suffice for The Project.
  192. 192.The Perfect Storm-The Mark Wahlberg-Diane Lane aspect seems a little cringe, but could be overcome by the rest of this movie.
  193. 193.Forever Strong-Sean Faris doubled down in 2008 via portraying a troubled young man getting athletic redemption. However, this career move was way too soon after “Never Back Down” was released six months prior to this movie.
  194. 194.Icebox-This movie is really thought-provoking and Genesis Rodriguez adds a lot of warmth to it via her empathetic character.
  195. 195.Centigrade-The aspect of trying to survive while being stranded in the cold is worthy of a re-assessment.
  196. 196.The Water Diviner-Russell Crowe, teaming up with Olga Kurylenko, gives this movie two stars that can carry it into The Project. It’s just a question of which movies that it can work well with.
  197. 197.I Saw The Light-This music biopic will either fail like “Sweet Dreams” did or will join The Flickuum group of music biopics, which is headlined by “Back To Black”.
  198. 198.Out To Sea-Collaborations between the late Walter Matthau and the late Jack Lemmon work, especially when they are seen before game-changing talents, such as “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style”. There is plenty of game-changing talent on the assessment/re-assessment roster, thus this movie needs to have something like “Sacudete Las Penas” following it.
  199. 199.Killers-This movie starts strong, kills its momentum in the middle and slightly rebounds at the end. But that type of inconsistency could be its second (and final) downfall in 15 years.
  200. 200.The Battle Of Shaker Heights-The Shia LaBeouf-Amy Smart aspect isn’t strong enough to power this movie, but it could work well with either “Molly’s Game”, “Poetic Justice”, anything Saved By The Bell related or “The Bounce Back”.
  201. 201.The Janky Promoters-Darris Love having a bigger role in this movie, compared to both “Waist Deep” and “A Day In The Life”, is why this movie will at least get a re-assessment.
  202. 202.The Hunted-This movie is only here, on the basis of it being a William Freidkin movie. But that might be a moot point via the success of “The French Connection”.
  203. 203.The Pledge-The question is whether the ending of this movie is complete or not.
  204. 204.Revenge Of The Green Dragons-This movie has a vibe that is similar to “The Corruptor”.
  205. 205.Suicide Squad-This movie deserves a re-assessment, on the basis of Adewale Akinnuouye-Agbaje playing Killer Croc.
  206. 206.Titane-The only way to really judge this movie’s future in The Project is watch it and “Infinity Pool” back-to-back.
  207. 207.Landscape With Invisible-The alien designs in this movie are really cool, but will those be enough for it to finally make The Project?
  208. 208.Problemista-The only thing that this movie has going for it is that it was assessed after “Trap” and before “Night Swim”.
  209. 209.Cop Car-The Woodsman will be assessed, thus this one will be re-assessed. Plus, The Flickuum fates of each movie are tied together.
  210. 210.Late Night With The Devil-This movie captures the 1970s aesthetic perfectly, but can it put together a dominant 92-minute effort in its re-assessment?
  211. 211.The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones-The cancelled sequel could be this movie’s undoing, as the ending seemed incomplete.
  212. 212.Pan-This movie isn’t connected to any other Peter Pan related movie, which makes it too unfinished to make The Project.
  213. 213.The Truth About Cats & Dogs-Janeane Garofalo seems miscast as the lead character, but the animals in this movie all deserve to be a part of Flickuum lore.
  214. 214.Overdrive-The presence of Ana de Armas warrants at least a re-assessment.
  215. 215.Collide-It’s neck-and-neck with the movie that’s ranked directly above it. Plus, how many times do we get to see Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kingsley appear in the same movie together?
  216. 216.Decoding Annie Parker-This movie could suffer the same fate as “Something The Lord Made”.
  217. 217.Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure-This was one of the movies that put Keanu Reeves on the map early on in his career, thus it’s time to put more respect on it.
  218. 218.Bill And Ted’s Bogus Journey-If “Rapture-Palooza” can be re-assessed, then this movie should be as well.
  219. 219.About Fate-Can Emma Roberts and Britt Robertson co-exist in the same movie together?
  220. 220.The Perfect Score-Erika Christensen needs a positive movie that is both “post-Traffic” and “post-Swimfan”. This movie could fit that bill.
  221. 221.Traffic-The ending of this movie needs to be re-investigated.
  222. 222.The Eiger Sanction-See one spot above.
  223. 223.The Golden Compass-See two spots above.
  224. 224.Sex And Breakfast-Does this movie have a point or is it a complete waste of time?
  225. 225.The Patriot-Steven Seagal has the rare feat of playing the onscreen father of both Camilla Belle (this movie) and Alexa PenaVega (The Glimmer Man) in this movie. The question is will both movies be in The Project together, as uncertainty about this one still exists.
  226. 226.Message From The King-The late Chadwick Boseman playing a mysterious vigilante could power this movie, depending on how the last few minutes of it get interpreted.
  227. 227.She’s Missing-The question for this movie is does its ending have a complete feel or not? Plus, this movie will be one of the first ones off this board, as I want to re-assess it before the assessments of “Jem And The Holograms” and “Casi Treinta”, as all three movies are Eiza Gonzalez movies.
  228. 228.Clean-The fact that Glenn Fleshler is in this movie gives it a vibe that is similar to “A Most Violent Year”.
  229. 229.The Great Escape-Is this an over-hyped old Hollywood movie or an old Hollywood movie that could beat the odds just “The African Queen” did.
  230. 230.The Dirty Dozen-See one spot above.
  231. 231.The Obituary Of Tunde Johnson-Nicola Peltz Beckham doesn’t have many “post-Transformers: Age Of Extinction” movies to choose from, thus this one will have to do…for now.
  232. 232.Life Happens-Krysten Ritter, Kate Bosworth and Rachel Bilson all feed off one another perfectly. But will that be enough for this movie in its quest to make The Project?
  233. 233.Big Sur-The presence of Kate Bosworth makes this movie worthy of a re-assessment.
  234. 234.The Last Kiss-School For Scoundrels changed my opinion about Jacinda Barrett, so this maybe could be her second one in The Project.
  235. 235.Stealing Beauty-“Parthenope” is waiting in the wings to be assessed and this movie seems like something that paved the way for Paolo Sorrentino’s latest directorial effort.
  236. 236.Memorial Day-This movie just seems way too powerful to be denied a spot in The Project.
  237. 237.Head In The Clouds-It’s either this movie, “Queen Of The Damned” or both for Stuart Townsend to have in The Project, in terms of him as an actor.
  238. 238.The Guilt Trip-Compared to “Knocked Up”, this movie makes Seth Rogen look more like an adult.
  239. 239.Warcraft-This movie comes down to whether the ending is incomplete or not.
  240. 240.Midnight Special-This movie was assessed before the assessments of both “The Family” and “Black Beauty”, so those associations could help its stock. However, I can’t buy Kirsten Dunst playing Michael Shannon’s baby mama.
  241. 241.The Boy In The Striped Pajamas-This movie is gut-wrenching yet powerful. Plus, for it to be successful, it needs to be re-assessed before something that has either Nadine Velazquez or Melissa Barrera.
  242. 242.Monster Family-This movie seems like a rip-off of the disappointing “Hotel Transylvania” trilogy yet there is possible redemption for it via the presence of Jessica Brown Findlay.
  243. 243.Supercon-This is the second 2018 collaboration between Ryan Kwanten and Maggie Grace, but it could be a letdown, following their first one in “The Hurricane Heist”.
  244. 244.Beerfest-If both Super Troopers movies can be re-assessed, then this movie should be as well.
  245. 245.Club Dredd-The fact that this movie is associated with “The Green Knight” really hurts its chances of making The Project.
  246. 246.Out Cold-This movie could be perfect as an evaluation before something that has either Nadine Velazquez, Melissa Barrera, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen or Delilah Cotto. However, it also constantly lacks follow-through.
  247. 247.The Tax Collector-Is this movie infinitely better than “El Chicano”?
  248. 248.RocknRolla-This movie has the same vibe as both “Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels” and “Snatch”.
  249. 249.The Gift ’15-Bojangles The Dog deserves to be a part of Flickuum lore.
  250. 250.Kiss Me Again-This could be Mirelly Taylor’s best chance at Flickuum lore.
  251. 251.The Ringer-It might not be as mean-spirited as I had initially thought. Plus, it could be Lauren-Elaine Powell’s best chance at Flickuum lore.
  252. 252.She Is Love-How things finalize between Patricia, Idris and Louise makes or breaks this movie.
  253. 253.Rogue Agent-This movie can be effective with its ambiguity like “Hotel Mumbai”.
  254. 254.Comeback Season-This movie could be one of the few chances that Brooke Nevin has at Flickuum lore.
  255. 255.The Gray Man-The question is whether the mere presence of Ana de Armas punches this movie’s ticket into The Project or not.
  256. 256.Catch A Fire-This movie might be better than the one that’s ranked directly below it.
  257. 257.Arlington Road-This was the movie that “Friendship” was compared to, thus it’s time to see how closely both movies mirror each other.
  258. 258.6 Underground-The presence of Adria Arjona makes this movie worthy of a re-assessment, but it also might be overshadowed by the continuous downfall of Ryan Reynolds. And while the latter doesn’t bode well for this movie, the presence of Corey Hawkins led to the eventual last-minute decision of “In The Heights” being added to the assessment/re-assessment roster.
  259. 259.Da 5 Bloods-The late Chadwick Boseman seemed miscast as the platoon mate of Delroy Lindo, Clarke Peters, Norm Lewis and Isiah Whitlock Jr.
  260. 260.Hit!-The brief scene in which Nick Allen almost gets apprehended could help or hinder this movie’s case for The Project.
  261. 261.Super Zeroes-The presence of Madison Riley justifies a re-assessment for this movie.
  262. 262.Arkansas-This movie could be Eden Brolin’s best shot at Flickuum lore.
  263. 263.Vertical Limit-It’s almost criminal that David Hayman doesn’t have a lot of Flickuum movies, as he is a very talented actor. This movie could add to that total for him.
  264. 264.The Life Of David Gale-This movie is comparable to both “Just Mercy” and “The Chamber” yet it’s hard to get a good read on it.
  265. 265.Space Chimps-The chimp in space void in The Project was filled by “Spark: A Space Tail”, thus making this second re-assessment a low-risk move.
  266. 266.Palmetto-It didn’t help that this movie was re-assessed after “Ghostbusters II”.
  267. 267.X-The Project chances for this movie are predicated on how the re-assessments of the other two installments do.
  268. 268.Pearl-See one spot above.
  269. 269.MaXXXine-See two spots above.
  270. 270.Committed-Patricia Velazquez was miscast as Leonor Varela’s replacement as “Marta” in “Arrested Development” and that could hurt this movie’s chances at making The Project.
  271. 271.Mamma Mia!-Pierce Brosnan singing in the Sony version of “Cinderella” was/is a far improvement, compared to his singing in this movie. But this movie probably paved the way for that movie, in terms of the singing, thus this one will be re-assessed.
  272. 272.Absolute Power-This movie has the potential to outrank “In The Line Of Fire”, but it needs to be utilized correctly as an evaluation.
  273. 273.Thunderbolt And Lightfoot-This movie can work well with both “Wish” and “Husband For Hire”. However, it also might not be that much better than “Coogan’s Bluff”.
  274. 274.The Devil’s Own-This movie leaves a little too much open to interpretation.
  275. 275.Delores Claiborne-Is this a middling “cry wolf” movie or could it be seen in a much more favorable light after its re-assessment?
  276. 276.Literally, Right Before Aaron-Justin Long is even more loathsome here than he is in the failure, known as “Comet”.
  277. 277.Bad Education-Hugh Jackman seems miscast in this movie, despite the fact that it was assessed before the re-assessment of “The Bounce Back”.
  278. 278.Beastly-Olsen Twins fatigue could doom this movie’s chances at making The Project.
  279. 279.The Wackness-See one spot above. Plus, the ending might feel unfinished.
  280. 280.65-Because of its association with “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania”, this movie will get re-assessed.
  281. 281.House Of Gucci-Ridley Scott has helmed 15 Flickuum movies as a director. Will this be number 16 or an utter failure like “The Counsellor”?
  282. 282.Rams-Is this movie infinitely better than “The Banshees Of Inisherin”?
  283. 283.Frankenfish-Is this movie a “Shark Night” or a “Piranha II: The Spawning”?
  284. 284.The Jacket-The question is how blurred is the line between real and imaginary in this movie?
  285. 285.Adult World-Despite it being assessed around the time that I listened to the album “All I See Is War” for the very first time, Emma Roberts seems miscast in this movie.
  286. 286.Love For Sale-Melyssa Ford’s over-acting in this movie could hurt its chances of making The Project.
  287. 287.Feast Of Love-The question is were all of the events in this movie told via flashback or not?
  288. 288.A Day In The Life-This movie has high upside via the presence of Nadine Velazquez, but the teaser of a yet to be made sequel might not give The Flickuum Queen a 17th Project movie.
  289. 289.Gringo-The fact that this movie was re-assessed during the assessments/re-assessments of “The Sound And The Fury”, “Emma’s Chance”, “Deja Vu”, “Casa de mi Padre” and “Autumn Wanderer” could help its chances of making The Project.
  290. 290.Get The Gringo-Utilization in an assessment/re-assessment line-up could totally define whether this movie is Project-worthy or not.
  291. 291.Pure Luck-The ending of this movie is open to interpretation.
  292. 292.Stopmotion-This movie has a chance to outrank the 2024 version of “Speak No Evil”, as both movies are Aisling Franciosi movies.
  293. 293.The Boogeyman-This movie might have a better post-re-assessment outcome if it gets re-assessed after a movie that isn’t “Fast Girls”, as that movie was a force from start to finish during its own assessment.
  294. 294.Eight Men Out-This movie paved the way for one of Charlie Sheen’s most well-known sports movies in “Major League”.
  295. 295.Crush-The success of “Bottoms” could help this movie’s case for The Project.
  296. 296.Son Of A Gun-On the basis of movies filmed in Australia, it could fill the “Broken Hill” void in The Project.
  297. 297.Seventh Son-Is it infinitely better than “Van Helsing”?
  298. 298.Bullish-It could be too little, too late for this movie when Monica Barbaro finally appears.
  299. 299.The Gift ’00-This movie has a great cast, but it could be a “post-Replacements” letdown for Keanu Reeves, who is by far its biggest name.
  300. 300.The Hater-Meredith Hagner already has three Flickuum movies, so this one is a luxury instead of a have to have it movie.
  301. 301.She’s In Portland-I’m taking a flier on this movie as a re-assessment, due to the presence of Minka Kelly.
  302. 302.8MM-This is the first collaboration between Nicolas Cage and Catherine Keener, but is it on the same level as both “Croods” movies?
  303. 303.The Contractor-Is this Chris Pine-Ben Foster collaboration that much better than “Hell Or High Water”?
  304. 304.Unfriended-This movie gives Shelley Hennig a big role and has sequel upside, but is it coherent enough?
  305. 305.Burn After Reading-This movie having both John Malkovich and Richard Jenkins gives it a puncher’s chance at making The Project.
  306. 306.The Riot Club-This movie’s chances at making The Project hinge on how its ending is interpreted.
  307. 307.Hard To Kill-This movie joined the club of movies that were assessed/re-assessed after anything Saved By The Bell related, which has almost always led to failure for such movies. However, this movie has been granted a rare second re-assessment and that could lead to a much better outcome afterwards.
  308. 308.On Deadly Ground-Oddly enough, Steven Seagal playing a firefighter that goes out of his jurisdiction seems like too big of a stretch.
  309. 309.Fire Down Below-Could this 1997 theatrically-released Steven Seagal movie be better than it was during its assessment back in 1998?
  310. 310.Camp Nowhere-This movie’s comp is “Accepted”. And now that Blake Lively has torpedoed that movie’s Flickuum stock, this movie has a chance to both catch up with it in the rankings and finish ranked higher.
  311. 311.I.T.-This movie could give the late Michael Nyqvist a third movie in The Project.
  312. 312.The Hating Game-This movie has what it takes to outrank the movie that’s listed directly below it.
  313. 313.The Unicorn-Since “Death Of A Unicorn” was assessed prior to this entry posting, a movie simply titled “The Unicorn” deserves a re-assessment.
  314. 314.Wanderland-This movie has a charming indie vibe about it.
  315. 315.All The Right Moves-I don’t view Lea Thompson the same way that I view either Nadine Velazquez or Melissa Barrera, but it’s a good early-career role for her.
  316. 316.Death Race 2000-This movie deserves a re-assessment, based on its association with “Husband For Hire”.
  317. 317.Midnight Run-This movie needs a full re-assessment, in order for me to know if it’s Project-worthy or not.
  318. 318.21 Jump Street-It does help that this movie was assessed before the theatrical assessments of “The Grinch” and “A Simple Favor”.
  319. 319.22 Jump Street-This movie was assessed after both of those 2018 movies were assessed theatrically, but the multiple undercover operation scenes being crammed at the end could be a bit much.
  320. 320.U-571-Jon Bon Jovi seems out of place in this movie.
  321. 321.Assault On Precinct 13 ’05-Marion Bishop teaming up with Jake Roenick could justify the end of this movie.
  322. 322.Come And Find Me-Annabelle Wallis needs a movie to fill the “True True Lie” void in The Project. This movie could fit that bill.
  323. 323.Extreme Measures-Desperate Measures has gotten two re-assessments. This movie is better than that one, therefore it deserves a re-assessment.
  324. 324.Americano-The presence of Leonor Varela warrants a re-assessment for this movie.
  325. 325.Mandie And The Cherokee Treasure-Hayley Mills already has a Flickuum movie in “Trap”, so this one is an added bonus, provided that it passes its re-assessment.
  326. 326.Eastern Promises-The question for this movie is how much of a complete feel does it have?
  327. 327.Smokin’ Aces-Can this movie be a high-energy good time or will it have an incomplete feel?
  328. 328.Game Night-This is the second Jason Bateman movie in which a male character is dating a woman that is somewhat more older than him. It was inconsequential in “This Is Where I Leave You”, as that movie works as a whole. However, that aspect is questionable in this movie, because it might not work as a whole unlike that other Jason Bateman movie.
  329. 329.Matchstick Men-Separation of parent and child worked in both “Leave No Trace” and “Towelhead”, thus why this movie will be re-assessed.
  330. 330.The Reunion-This movie has a stacked cast, but a stacked cast doesn’t necessarily equal a spot in The Project, thus making this movie questionable at best.
  331. 331.Sundown-The only thing that’s holding back this movie from making The Project is the animal fighting.
  332. 332.Telling You-This is the second collaboration between Peter Facinelli and Jennifer Love Hewitt, but it could be a complete “post-Cant’ Hardly Wait” letdown.
  333. 333.Secret Window-This was the movie that kicked off the 2011 revamping of The Project when the limit was 400 movies at the time. So, based on that, this movie deserves a re-assessment.
  334. 334.Worst Friends-This movie might be as frustrating as both “Not Okay” and “The Oranges”.
  335. 335.Fanboys-What hurt this movie’s case was that it was assessed after the re-assessment of “Titanic”.
  336. 336.Gas-Making Flex Alexander the older brother and Khalil Kain the younger brother, when in reality the former is younger than the older, is a weird move.
  337. 337.Metro-Roper’s quest for avenging Sam’s murder is a rush of adrenaline, but this falls apart towards the end.
  338. 338.Confirmation-The scenes involving graphic testimony could doom it during its re-assessment.
  339. 339.Don’t Look Up-This movie might be better than “Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, “It’s A Disaster” and “Melancholia”, but that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.
  340. 340.Apt Pupil-As an assessment/re-assessment, this movie is good at passing the time. But can it exceed that label as a Project movie?
  341. 341.Nightcrawler-Jake Gyllenhaal portraying an exploitive thrill-seeker could torpedo this movie during its second re-assessment.
  342. 342.Zero Effect-The question is will this presumably dull movie have a more than 0% chance of making The Project?
  343. 343.El Chicano-This movie gets more nonsensical as it goes on.
  344. 344.Gotti-The movie beginning and ending with John Travolta as John Gotti narrating, while being alone outside at night, makes this biopic a little too hokey.
  345. 345.Firestorm-There was one scene in “Broken Arrow” where Howie Long was unintentionally funny yet that movie didn’t suffer as a result of that. The question is can the Hall Of Fame defensive lineman lead a movie into The Project?
  346. 346.Thank You For Smoking-The spin-doctoring in this movie gets exhausting after a while.
  347. 347.All Good Things-The fact that this movie was inspired by the real-life story of the now deceased Robert Durst makes me regret opting to put this movie as one of the 347.

Well, if you made it up to this point of the entry, then I hope you were able to bear with the latest stage of my mad scientist mindset about The Flickuum Project. And before I wrap up the longest blog entry that I have ever written in my career, I got six more quick things to mention, which are 1] Avalon High was pardoned from the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page, prior to the completion of the list above, 2] Fly Me To The Moon has been sent to the Land Of Infusion page for re-assessment, because I think that movie can outrank “Deadpool & Wolverine”, 3] Wild Flower has also been sent to the Land Of Infusion page for re-assessment, because I don’t see the yet to be re-assessed “Day Shift” outranking it in any Mega Movie Package capacity at all, 4] Sun Belt Express has been added to the roster, because I’m catching “About Scout” vibes about it, 5] The 2022 version of “Father Of The Bride” has been swapped out of Tier 13 for “Persuasion”, as I actually see the former working in an evaluation line-up with movies that have Eiza Gonzalez, Melissa Barrera and Nadine Velazquez, and 6] A Real Pain has also been granted a re-assessment, as that movie might be the one that I’ll re-assess before my assessment of “Sacudete Las Penas”.

Alright, now this grueling thought process has finally been put out into the Art Infliction blogosphere, so now I can really make progress on the assessment/re-assessment roster, which currently has 960 movies on it. Yes, I have my work cut out for me via the aforementioned roster, but I will make time between now and the wee hours of April 8 to reduce it to the best of my ability, as my evaluation of “Cliffhanger” will be occurring at that time. And yes, the rankings and the scouting blurbs of those 347 pardoned movies, which you all saw listed above, might be very inconsistent, but my thoughts on any of them could change between now and New Year’s Day 2027, thus making that a totally inexact science right now.

Until the next time.
