Sydney Sweeney’s “Anyone But You” character is being blasphemous once again, as six more Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention movies have come into question. But those six will truly be the last ever ones to come into question.
Let’s begin.
First up, let’s begin with that final four, as I’ll be listing the reasons why each of those soon-to-be mentioned movies have cases for The Flickuum Project. And of course, you can see all of that via the typical chart format below:
Movie | Why it will be re-assessed |
Little Giants | This movie has the potential to be an unlikely jump-starter for The Project. Plus, the dynamic between Becky and Junior can be interpreted with a much more clear-cut resolution. |
Flower | The fate of this movie will be predicated on the judgment call of the relationship between Bob and Laurie. |
How To Lose Friends & Alienate People | Hearing one Fox (Julia) say “MF” in “Uncut Gems” makes me want to hear another Fox (Megan) say that same word in this movie. |
The Wolf Of Wall Street | If I can handle a monster eating someone’s pet (a cat) in “The Shape Of Water”, then I can handle Jonah Hill’s character eating someone’s pet (a fish) in this movie. |
No Sudden Move | The aforementioned Julia Fox is the perfect excuse to re-assess this movie. |
The Visitor | Since the opposite of deportation is an actual thing, the end of this movie doesn’t seem so pointless. |
Next up, I’ve grown to accept movies with little to no dialogue, as the very acclaimed “Flow” lived up to its hype. And of course, with that being said, another acclaimed movie with little to no dialogue gets a shot at making The Project. And as to what that movie is, well it’s “Hundreds Of Beavers”, which is a nod to to the Buster Keaton silent movie era. So, because of that acclaim and the fact that my brother-in-law predicted that I’ll like the 2022 movie, I have decided to add it to the ever-growing roster of assessments/re-assessments.
When it comes to “Den Of Thieves”, well there is a reason that I granted it a pardon, which is that it will have a sequel to help tie the loose-end of how its predecessor concluded. So, with that being said, it will most likely be my first theatrical outing of 2025.
J.K. Simmons has loomed large over the final two months of 2024, as A] He appeared in the last movie to graduate to Tier 5 a.k.a. “Red One” and B] He was one of the many bright spots of the still questionable “Juror #2”. And of course, with that being said, one of my most recent times in struggling to fall asleep led to me surfing the Apple Store movies app, with the goal of trying to find the music related movie of his (J.K. Simmons) that also features a hot actress. And sure enough, I was able to find the title of that movie, which is “The Music Never Stopped”. And as to which hot actress is featured in that movie, well it’s the dynamic and gorgeous Mia Maestro.
And finally, Julia Fox is just way too vibrant to have just two Flickuum movies, as “Uncut Gems” left me wanting so much more from her. But thanks in part to the Sundance Film Festival, as well as a 2025 United States wide theatrical release, two (No Sudden Move isn’t a lock to make The Project) could become three, due to her movie “Presence” coming out two days (01/24/25) before The Project reaches 1,200 enshrined movies. So, given that, another movie will most likely jump ahead of “Dog Man” during my 2025 theatrical tour.
Well, I haven’t really cleared the roster as quickly as I have wanted to, due to me wanting to make the path to 1,200 way more manageable next month. But I’ll have way more chances in doing the former after my evaluations of both “Wall Street” and “Independence Day”.
Until the next time.
