Diaries Found By The Lake!

Now that my bizarre decision of expediting “Coyote Lake” to Tier 3 (in place of Thunder Road) has gone into effect, the question is what movie will serve as the alphabetical replacement in part 1 of Levels Within Tier 13? Well, the answer is the second of two movies that was placed in the latter of the two tiers this most recent weekend, with that movie being “The Adderall Diaries”, which stars James Franco in the semi-autobiographical role of author Stephen Elliott. Let’s continue.

Alright, so I pardoned this movie almost a year ago, as the semi-autobiographical nature of it cleared up the murkiness about the plot for me, along with pre-dating my goal (established in June) of wanting to see all pardoned/exempted/unseen A24 movies. And while one of those categories (pardon) has worked out for one movie (Saint Maud) since that goal has gone into effect, it’s not going to work out for the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival release, due to me simply disliking it more than I did the last three times that I re-assessed it, especially with the overly polished arthouse turd vibe that it gives off. And given that I like it less than “Honeymoon In Vegas”, well it’s going to be Inevitable.

Well, that does it for this add-on/revision of “Levels Within Tier 13: Part 1”, which dramatically changes the structure of “post-La Mujer De Mi Hermano” competitors. And while no other fully guaranteed Flickuum Project movie will be subjected to what “Thunder Road” was just subjected to, there are two yet-to-be-named “post-La Mujer De Mi Hermano” competitors that currently have Inside Track status, and they will very likely be mentioned in the part 3 of the five-entry sub-series for “Levels Within In Tier 13”.

Until the next time.
