The page, formerly known as Over Capacity, has been re-activated and subsequently converted into a page that now tracks pre-final 95 spot cap space, along with showing which movies are/could be impacted by cap space overages, meaning that a lot of cap gymnastics will be performed between either “Corsage” or “How To Make A Killing” getting the latest overall guaranteed Flickuum spot, and “Dream Scenario” finally graduating to Tier 5. Oh yeah, I almost forgot that that page has also been renamed “Pre-Final 95 Spot Cap Space”, thus another subsequent move.
Let’s begin.
First up, I need to have at least three Flickuum/Land Of Infusion related items minimum in both this entry and the upcoming volume 224, as I have a special announcement in volume 225. So, with that being said, what will be the first blogged about item in this entry? Well, what guy wouldn’t feel like wanting more from Jennifer Beals after “Flashdance”, thus I looked for movies of hers with certain criteria via Celebrity Movie Archive and found a movie, entitled “Dr. M”, which fits that certain criteria. Of course, I will have to search Vudu or YouTube for it to rent or watch for free, otherwise I’ll have to buy it from either Amazon, eBay or Mercari before seeing it, especially since it’s not available to rent via the aforementioned Amazon, nor is it available via any of the streaming platforms that are listed via both IMDB and Apple. And should I go the blind purchasing route with that movie, well then it’s not the first time that I’ve gone that route and it probably won’t be the last, as I’ll have to go that route with other movies that are also up for assessment/re-assessment. Stay tuned.
Next up, a movie that one of my roommates wanted to see a remake of was “Arthur”, which I was too mentally burned out to even consider at that time, yet I ended up assessing it anyways, to the point that it’s now a Tier 4 movie, so I owe him a scouting report of it. Of course, this roommate of mine is a fan of the original “Arthur”, which starred the late Dudley Moore, and I learned of that during the year (2011) that the Russell Brand-led remake came out. Of course, I never forgot that being mentioned to me, therefore the 1981 movie has sprouted into yet another addition for the assessment/re-assessment roster.
And finally, I surfed the First Showing website to find out what else is slated for release in 2027, as all I know about that are A] Four movies that I want to see theatrically next year will be released, and B] The fifth “Shrek” movie and the seventh “Ice Age” movie have both joined them on the 2027 release calendar. Or should I say knew, as shortly before this entry was written, I went back to that website and found 14 additional movies that I want to add to my 2027 theatrical tour. And as to what they are, well you can find out via the typical chart format:
| Movie | Why it has been added to the 2027 theatrical tour |
| The Beekeeper 2 | I wanted a sequel of Jason Statham’s early-2024 action hit, thus want and I shall receive. |
| Children Of Blood And Bone | The wave of momentum that Idris Elba will be riding via “Masters Of The Universe” makes me want to see this movie. |
| Gatto | Pixar is a perfect 29-for-29 in amassing Flickuum movies, thus that reputation proceeds this movie. |
| The Legend Of Zelda | I wanted a Zelda movie, simply because Justin Long would be the perfect actor to cast as Link, although he is likely too old for that role now. Regardless, this movie is long overdue and I want to see it, because the Zelda cartoon is childhood nostalgia for me. |
| How To Train Your Dragon 2 | This potential franchise (three installments or more) could be shot-for-shot just like the computer-animated trilogy of 2010 through 2019, but I’m not upset about a second live-action installment at all, as I really love the 2025 live-action remake. |
| A Quiet Place Part III | Franchise continuity, as I like “Day One” and the two John Krasinki-Emily Blunt installments really grew on me. |
| Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2 | It’s implied that The Shredder will be in this movie, so it abso-fucking-lutely will be a part of the tour. |
| The Simpsons Movie 2 | The possibilities with this movie are endless, based on both its predecessor a.k.a. evaluation 742 and the 37-year-old animated TV series. |
| Frozen III | There could be an interesting route with the Anna-Elsa storyline in this threequel. |
| Gremlins 3 | I love the first two movies and the second one teased the possibility of a threequel, thus Chris Columbus will make that teaser a reality. |
| Avengers: Secret Wars | I don’t know how much further that The MCU can go with this franchise, but continuity will put my 6-2 frame in an auditorium come December 2027. |
| The Lord Of The Rings: The Hunt For Gollum | The fourth “Lord Of The Rings” prequel and has been added to the 2027 tour, due to “The Hobbit” prequel franchise being in the ninth increment of 100 Flickuum evaluations. |
| The Batman Part II | This movie has had its release date shifted around multiple times, only to finally lock into a release date of October 1, 2027. And given that it will give continuity, along with upside, to its 2022 predecessor, it’s absolutely going to be a part of the October leg of the 2027 tour. |
| A Minecraft Movie 2 | The first installment (which will upset “Aquaman” in the rankings) provides so much upside for a sequel, thus it’s only fitting that this movie is coming out. |
Well, I managed to find three paragraphs (minimum) worth of Flickuum/Land Of Infusion material, which has translated to potentially 16 more Project movies. And given that I won’t have the roster cleared anytime soon, it’s officially confirmed that I’ll be performing a lot of cap gymnastics, whether that begins this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon. Yes, my Flickuum related work being cut out for me has been extended, but I knew that this challenge would come and I’m more than prepared to embrace it every step of the way.
Until the next time.
