Steve Delves Into VideoETA: The Sequel

It’s been a little over two months since I blogged about VideoETA, as I found it highly unlikely that I would blog about that website ever again. But after noticing them hitting a new low recently, highly unlikely just changed to confirmed.

You see, the reminder for the movie “The Last Voyage Of The Demeter” still remains in the “Just Announced” section of that website and it came out via hard copy three days ago. And of course, with that being said, I have never previously seen an announcement of a movie,  which has been offically released via hard copy, remain in that section.

Of course, the non-update of that section begs the question of whether VideoETA has gone downhill or not. Especially when 11/14/23 releases in The Equalizer 3 and Sound Of Freedom were cleared from that section, so you would naturally think that either of those two movies remaining in that section would make way more sense. And with all of that being said, I think that VideoETA is indeed going downhill, especially when A] Dumb Money (a movie that I added to my pending announcement queue) already has a hard copy listing on Amazon and B] A Haunting In Venice (another movie that I added to my pending announcement queue) got released theatrically a little over month ago. So, given both of those points, it would make way more sense for either of those two movies (or any other movie for that matter) to get their hard copy confirmation placed in that section instead of having The Last Voyage Of The Demeter (a movie that I have ZERO interest in seeing) remain in that section. But given that stupidity is more common than common sense, I’m not surprised.

Tune into the In A Pinch page tomorrow to find out about the Fandango recon that I recently did for the movie “Napoleon”.
