Somewhat Chiefly Bittersweet

As a Kansas City Chiefs fan, Steve Kaycee’s vitriol about the 2018-19 NFL postseason came to an end on February 2, 2020, as his team won Super Bowl.

However, two of his favorites players (Justin Houston, Eric Berry) on the team weren’t on the team that ended the 50-year championship drought, as the former signed with the Indianapolis Colts during the 2019 off-season, while the latter didn’t wasn’t on any team’s roster during the 2019-20 season. And given how highly Steve speaks of both players for all that they each did for the Chiefs, it makes the Super Bowl 54 championship somewhat bittersweet.

But of course, there’s still time for each player to come full circle, as Houston’s contract with the Colts will end after the 2020-21 season, while Berry has been rumored to return to the Chiefs, despite the fact that both Tyrann Mathieau and Juan Thornhill are firmly entrenched as the starting safeties.

So with the third paragraph being said, we have launched a poll about which iconic former Kansas City Chiefs defensive player will return to the Super Bowl 54 champions.
