Sequel To The Burn-A-Ment, Part 2

Yesterday on The Bonus Round page, I blogged about which movies were retained for the Next Goal Wins spot-fill tournament, the top-ranked movie heading into that upcoming tournament and which three movies were going to be disqualified from that upcoming tournament. And of course, with that last part being said, I came up with a two-pronged plan, with the first part of it being the ten movies that will be assessed/re-assessed, which you can see via the first of two charts:

MovieWhy it be will assessed/re-assessed
Ride AlongThis movie has the potential to outrank Rampart (another Ice Cube movie), and the next movie in this chart can’t be in the Catch-22 Hundred Project without it.
Ride Along 2The push for a minimum of 10 Nadine Velazquez movies is why this movie is here.
ClarityThe Last Ride, War and the aforementioned Ride Along 2 will serve as the seventh, eighth and ninth Nadine Velazquez Project movies. This movie is one of three options to be number ten.
All’s Faire In LoveThe second of the three Nadine Velazquez movies that will be vying for that tenth Project slot.
HaroldStella Maeve needs redemption after that horrid movie “Starlet” got re-assessed in early-August of this year.
Benjamin TroublesThis movie has “Paint It Red” vibes. Plus, it boasts the tandem of Mishel Prada and Korrina Rico.
Inside Llewyn DavisThis movie features one of Oscar Isaac’s most iconic characters, thus it warrants an assessment.
RocknRollaThe third re-assessment of Body Of Lies led to this movie getting a second re-assessment, as it’s another Mark Strong movie. Plus, this movie provides the awesomeness of Gerard Butler and Idris Elba appearing on screen together.
Space CowboysIf The Last Ride (a movie where it seems that a young male actor has Dennis Hopper’s voice dubbed over his) can be in the Project, then this movie deserves a re-assessment at least.
Devil’s DueThis movie gets the last spot in this marathon, due to it having Aimee Carrero.

Out of those 10 chart movies, two (both Ride Along movies) of them are surefire Project movies, which makes the potential success for the other eight movies anything but a given. And should there be an 0-8 mark for those other eight movies, well then three movies that have had their stocks recently rise will be joining the two Ice Cube-Kevin Hart movies, the second Melissa Barrera-Jenna Ortega collaboration and the six retained tournament movies in serious selection protocol, regardless. And as to what those three movies are, well you can find out via the second chart:

MovieWhy its stock has risen
Shark NightThis movie has the potential to outrank both Piranha 3D and Piranha 3DD, the shark appearing in the closing scene is similar to Ghostface appearing in the closing scene of Scream ’22, the Project gets a fourth wall via it possibly being Sinqua Walls’ fourth Project movie, the scene involving Katharine McPhee and Alyssa Diaz adds a little more punch, and the dog survives.
The Man With The Iron Fists 2Lord Pi being evil then good then evil again is similar to Yuri and Irina Komarova being that way in A Good Day To Die Hard.
WithinThe last of the three Nadine Velazquez movies that will be vying for that tenth Project slot.

So, there you have it. Two charts that will lead to at least 12 movies foreseeably making the Project, one of which will make it at the conclusion of the Next Goal Wins spot-fill tournament. However, that tournament won’t begin until the ten upcoming assessments/re-assessments are all on hand together, as both Ride Along movies and Harold haven’t come to me as of yet.

Tune in either sometime next week or next year to the phase three of the plan.
