Revvin’ For Spots 2,001 Through 2,047!: Part 2

During the first third of this month, eight of the 47 movies that are vying for overall guaranteed Two ThouCentennial spots 2,001 through 2,047 have been completed and the results for those eight are a mixed bag. Let’s delve into that bag to see what their futures are in The Two ThouCentennial Project via the chart below:

MovieIts future in The Two ThouCentennial Project
FallThe presence of Grace Caroline Currey (nee Fulton) keeps this movie afloat, despite its mostly pointless plot. It’s likely heading to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
Paws Of Fury: The Legend Of HankThis movie is basically a Kung Fu Panda rip-off and has a mostly stupid plot to boot. Maybe a sequel could salvage it, though.
Bullet TrainThis movie is the classic mayhem movie, in the sense that it has a vibe somewhat similar to Wanted, a movie that features Brad Pitt’s ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. But unlike that movie, this movie crams way too many plotlines at one time, thus a poorly-executed mess.
The Bad GuysBad guys turning good guys has worked in movies, such as the Minions franchise and a movie that will be mentioned in the second paragraph, following this chart. But unlike them, this movie falls flat, which makes its 88% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes all the more baffling.
Lyle, Lyle, CrocodileThis movie is the 2022 version of Clifford The Big Red Dog, from the standpoint of a having heartwarming vibe about it. Plus, it could go down as the best 2022 Two ThouCentennial movie.
Where The Crawdads SingThis movie is beautifully shot and has a lot of heartwarming components that pertain to animals. And despite it giving off similar vibes as Redeeming Love, it could be one of the last movies to make The Project.
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & ShawDue to its trio of awesome actors, this movie was brought in as a replacement for Amsterdam in the 2,001 through 2,010 section of the 47 movies that are vying for spots 2,001 through 2,047. However, this movie doesn’t really connect up with the rest of The Fast And The Furious franchise, so it will eventually be landing on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
Black AdamDwayne “The Rock” Johnson showing up within the first 15 minutes of this movie settles it down, thus it all coming together as a movie that will get the 2,008th overall guaranteed Two ThouCentennial spot whenever it gets hard copy confirmation.

So as you all see via the chart above, a quarter of those movies have passed their assessments, thus a little bit of immediate success for the movies that are vying for spots 2,001 through 2,047 of The Project. And of course, with that being said, the question is what steps were taken to compensate for the struggles of the other six via that chart?

Well given that 35 movies were held in reserve in the event of the now confirmed struggles, the answer is that Glass Jaw, Go Back To China, The Suicide Squad (the movie that was unnamed in the chart outcome for The Bad Guys), Togo, The After Party and Love And Hostages were all awarded spots 2,002 through 2,007 of The Project, due to five of them having very high post-assessment stocks, along with the other one having the unique vibe of being a potential Friday night evaluation. So given all of that, the struggles of the six chart movies not named Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile and Black Adam proved to be a silver lining.

Tune into the Sneak Leaks page to see my predictions for the other 39 movies that are vying for spots 2,009 through 2,047 of The Project.
