As recently as June 14, 2020, I did say that the swap of Five Feet Apart, The Rhythm Section, Filth and Frozen Kiss for LOL, About Cherry, Mirror Mirror and Adrift (the Shailene Woodley movie) would be my last ever “to and from” swap of movies going to and from the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
But after taking into account that Outside Providence will be the 401st Two Thous-Ton evaluation, along with my since completed line-up utilization of a Sylvester Stallone movie (Tango & Cash) with an Adam Sandler movie (Bedtime Stories), I decided to remove both Old School and Zookeeper from the aforementioned Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page to re-assess both of them. And as to why I’ve decided to re-assess both of them, well you can see the reasons via the chart below:
Movie | Why it’s being re-assessed |
Old School | A decision will have to be made at some point about which movie will be evaluated right after Outside Providence. Especially when this one was assessed the first time right after Outside Providence’s first and only assessment all the way back in 2009. |
Zookeeper | This movie is being re-assessed for the simple fact that both Stallone and Sandler are in it, albeit each of them doing the voice of an animal. Regardless, a movie with those two is worth at least another watch. |
Now my ongoing movie assessment marathon and my next movie assessment marathon both have all of their spots filled, so you’d figure that I would put both Old School and Zookeeper in my tenth movie assessment marathon of 2020, right? Well yes in most cases, except that these two movies need to have decisions made about them sooner rather than later, thus the both of them getting “nomad assessment marathon status”.
Of course, you’ll find out about the completion of each re-assessment in a Nog Report, whether it’s the same one or separate ones. And that’s where the certainty ends, as I don’t know when exactly that I’ll be re-assessing either of those movies. Especially with what I currently have at my disposal. Stay tuned.
