My Intro To Art: Libbie Wright

Steve: How old were you when you had your first artistic experience?

Libbie: I have been making art ever since I could hold a pencil.

Steve: What made you dedicate as much time as possible to art?

Libbie: Art is a need more than a decision for me. It is part of who I am and even when I am not actively painting for creating a piece of art, I am adding an artistic viewpoint or flare for my everyday life.

Steve: What style or styles are you known for?

Libbie: I do a wide range of art, but I’m mostly known for doing more “fine art” and illustrative art. My preferred mediums are watercolor and ink, as well as copper wire when I am creating jewelry.

Steve: Where people can find your work?

Libbie: You all can check out my work on Instagram, and can DM me there if interested in a piece or custom work and earring in my Etsy shop @libbieslabel.

Steve: Anymore artistic goals?

Libbie: My next long-term aspiration is to get into a program to learn more about scientific illustrations. My short-term goals are to get my work out there in my local community.

Steve: How do you hope to inspire others?

Libbie: I hope to inspire people to see something in themselves reflected through my art.
