Flickasbord, Volume 63

The pursuit of filling the “Challengers” spot in the 2,101 through 2,200 selection protocol has finally been solved, as I decided yesterday to go see “Tarot” theatrically, despite both the rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes and the constant flow of negative YouTube video reviews. And of course, I’m glad that I went against the grain of negativity, as the movie lived up to my expectations of it being a cross between the 2017 remake of “Flatliners” and the 2023 Australian horror movie “Talk To Me”.

Due to being the co-lead with Nadine Velazquez in the likely number one Flickuum movie, which is “The Bounce Back”, Shemar Moore’s stock has risen to the point that he could seriously challenge Keanu Reeves as the king of The Project. As a matter of fact, the former of the two actors is so cool that he needs at least 10 Project to validate that coolness. However, two of his movies that won’t be increasing his amount of Flickuum movies from five to seven are both of the “Motives” movies, as he’s just way too cool to suffer the fates that he suffered in both of those movies, therefore those two movies will make it 12 on the Movies That Mega Tat Refuses To See page.

And finally, I did vow that I will no longer purge overall guaranteed Flickuum movies. But after realizing today that a movie (The Disaster Artist) about the making of the movie “The Room” is just too stupid to even fathom, I have decided that I will revoke its fully guaranteed Flickuum spot, followed by expediting “Coming 2 America” from Tier 4 to Tier 2 and expediting “Bonnie And Clyde” from Tier 7 to Tier 4. And of course, with that very last part being said, I can now officially justify the “two pairs of Genes” joke that I came up with roughly two months ago. Oh yes, and that revoking will be the last ever one for The Flickuum Project.

Well, I have 17 (possibly 18) assessments/re-assessments (excluding Back To Black) to go and I have five-plus days to get them all completed. And given the recent emphasis that I’ve put on getting them all completed by this coming Memorial Day, you best believe that I will haul ass with that goal once the postings of today’s Nog Report have been completed.

Until the next time.
