When it comes to strategically scheduling movie assessments/re-assessments of late, it’s rare that I knock them out in bunches like I did at this time last year. But hey, that’s what happens when strategic scheduling comes into play.
Of course, the amount of movie assessments/re-assessments that were documented in 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 19 was nine, with those nine movies being assessed/re-assessed from July 19, 2022 through July 25, 2022. And with all of that being said, the questions now are A) How many movies will be documented in this entry? and B) In which span did the documented activity of this entry occur?
Well, the answer to Point A is eight and the answer to Point B is July 29, 2022 through the early afternoon part of today (August 2, 2022), although the first two movies via the chart below were started on July 25, 2022 and July 27, 2022, respectively.
Alright, so without much more ado, let’s get right to it.
*****Denotes movies that were documented in 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 1
******Denotes movies that were added to Tier 12 after June 28, 2022
********Denotes movie that was an impromptu Tier 12 assessment
Movie | Its Fate Post-Assessment/Post-Re-Assessment |
5 Days Of War***** | It’s in Tier 9 and will be subject to a plot investigation. |
Captain America: Civil War | It passed its assessment and is in Tier 5 until August 3, 2022, as it will move up to Tier 4. |
In A Relationship****** | It landed on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page on August 1, 2022. |
The Art Of The Steal***** | It’s in Tier 9 as a movie that will return to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page. |
Aladdin ‘19******** | It could outrank The Lion King ’19 (a Tier 3 movie), therefore it (Aladdin ’19) is in Tier 5. |
Last Night In Soho****** | This movie is the third Anya Taylor-Joy movie since March 4, 2022 (Thoroughbreds and Playmobil: The Movie are the other two) to both fail assessment, and subsequently be placed on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page. |
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1***** | It’s in Tier 9 and will return to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page on October 9, 2022. |
DC League Of Super-Pets | A little over half of the assessed/re-assessed 2022 movies have been deemed either successful or likely successful. This movie falls into that “either or” category. Now it’s just a matter of hard copy confirmation. |
Well, there you have it yet again. Nearly half of the movies in this batch have passed their assessments/re-assessments. And depending on how the plot investigation goes for 5 Days Of War, it could retroactively be a 50% success rate for this aforementioned batch.
Well, that concludes this latest (twenty first) 83 And Possibly Out! entry. Tune in next week to see what will be in the next (and eventual) batch.
