83 And Possibly Out!: Part 17

This might be the shortest 83 And Possibly Out! entry that I will ever write, as the remaining entries of this series for the next three months will have way more detail than this entry. And what I mean by that is that my commitment to finishing first rough drafts of future movie reviews really limited how many Tier 8, Tier 11 and Tier 12 movies that I could assess/re-assess from last Tuesday to the early hours of this morning. But hey, eight is better than none, as that’s how many assessments/re-assessments that I have completed during this soon to be blogged about span. And of course, with all the previous sentence being said, you can find out what the movies were, along with what their fates are, in the chart below.

*****Denotes movies that were a part of 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 1

MovieIts Fate Post-Assessment/Post-Re-Assessment
LightyearThis movie passed its assessment. It’s just a matter of when it will get hard copy confirmation.
Screaming DeadIt’s in Tier 9, but could be a movie that has the “grow on” effect, meaning that it could join The Farm Squad movies that are currently battling with Tier 12 movies for the 61 (now 62) unclaimed revoked tentative guaranteed Two ThouCentennial spots.
The Rift: Dark Side Of The MoonIt landed on the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable on June 27, 2022.
Love Spreads It’s in Tier 9 and will be going to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page.
A.C.O.R.N.S.: Operation CrackdownSee one spot above.
American Pastoral*****This movie is in Tier 9 and will be going back to the Movie-Ocrity/Dishonorable Mention page sometime between now and October 7, 2022.
Malevolence 3: KillerSee three spots above.
Where The Red Fern Grows ‘74See four spots above.

So yeah, just like last week, a quarter (25%) success rate for movies that were assessed/re-assessed. And while the quantity of completed assessments/re-assessments is smaller compared to 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 16, the success that’s being documented in this entry is way more encouraging than the activity that was documented in 83 And Possibly Out!: Part 15.

Well, that does it for this latest recap of Two ThouCentennial activity. Tune in three weeks from now to find out what the next round of activity entails, as I will be busy relocating within the Tarheel State. So with that being said, blog to you all again then.
